Jonny is absolutely lovely, smiley and he pours the perfect pint. All the time, every time.

Great service from Jonny and Rose. The food is much better than you would expect from a bar in the centre of a student filled area. The monkey lounge also sports an impressive range of spirits and cocktails which also tasted great. On top of all this the prices of food and spirits where very competitive.

Dive bar with covered patio. Friendly service. Better-than-it-needs-to-be Bacon Cheeseburger with Cajun fries and a Neckoil <£16. Best burger I’ve had in a while, especially in Reading. Juicy, loaded with tomato, pickle, lettuce, red onion, burger sauce. Truly yummy. Deffo coming back for another.

Was suggested to go to the Monkey Lounge and it didn’t disappoint, first time and made to feel very welcome, excellent service on the bar, especially from Jonny, Tammy and Marcus! Definitely worth going to.

Brilliant chillout zone close to university. Very friendly vibe and they have sports on at most times. Good Collection of drinks to support food menu. Try their spicy chicken wings ;-)
