The best restaurants in Fordingbridge New Forest South East

I’m a local resident and this lovely kiosk set in Fordingbridge Park is the very best. Hot and cold drinks, freshly prepared food all served with a smile by wonderful staff. Uses local produce which really does add to this little gem….try it….you’ll not be disappointed.

I feel the need to review the visit I had following a query which the Railway answered very positively. I would not hesitate to have Sunday lunch there again the staff were amazing as was the setting. I highly recommend a visit you will not be disappointed - even after having a query it was answered in the very best way.

Delicious ice cream. Flavours change frequently so always something new to try. Soft serve (whippy) is best we have ever had. Love the little edible pots too. All ice cream prepared on site. What's not to love?!

Lovely hotel. The room we stayed in (Orient Express) was really comfortable with a great bathroom with a roll top bath. The food was delicious and great value for money. Last but not least, the staff. They are an absolute credit to the hotel, really friendly, and made sure we were well looked after. Thank you !!!

La Lambretta pizza is the best authentic pizza you will get anywhere outside of Italy! All staff are lovely. It's a magical little taste of Italy in Fordingbridge. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Een gezellige pub in het centrum van Fordingbridge, gastvrije bediening en gasten, maar helaas niet erg lekker eten. De fish and chips waren wat ons betreft niet van erg goede kwaliteit, en de plakkerige tafels hielpen ook niet mee. Ik zou hier terugkomen als ik met vrienden biertjes zou willen drinken, niet om met mijn gezin uit eten te gaan

As usual we had a very enjoyable lunch here today. Despite having two vegetarians and one gluten free out of the five of us, nothing was too much trouble. We all had different very tasty roasts. Followed by some good desserts, the toffee roulade was great. The Ship’s Sunday roast is definitely the best around here.

We were staying locally for a short break and drove into Fordingbrige . We dropped into the Tea Garden for lunch we were a little early for the lunch menu so had a coffee first . Lunch menu is nice and varied two of us had the hog roast sandwich and one a beef sandwich . Excellent quality of food and having a riverside table made it all the more enjoyable. Staff friendly and attentive and I would recommend it without hesitation. Dog friendly too 🐕

Food was piping hot, delivery was fast and order needs where met. Would recommend to anyone.

We always have good food from New Wongs, chips can be hit or miss at times but usually decent and you always get a mountain of them. Prices are on the high side for a take away but it’s always busy so must be worth what you’re asked to pay.

Just enjoyed an excellent mixed veg curry from the Raj and my husband had a mixed meat curry. Very tasty with a good mix of veg in the veggy curry. The meat curry included prawns and mixed meat, We had it as a takeaway which was cooked spot on time and still hot when we arrived home with it. We will definitely be returning.

Literally had the best fried chicken wrap ever! They definitely don't skimp on portion size. The food is always really good with great service.

Popped in for a coffee and a bacon baguette so good best one so far will be popping back soon many thanks DIGs

A very good morning to all the super staff at the George. 16 members of the Game Angling Instructors' Association had an evening meal at The George, following their National Fly Casting Instruction event, held at Fordingbridge - 11th and 12th October 2024. The evening meal was delicious - super starters, magnificent mains (highly recommend the tender rump steak) and delicious starters. All served up with super service. Many thanks. The food is great. I've not been displeased to date. And that salsa.... let me tell you!!! It's Amazing!!!! The drinks compliment as well! Service is respectable and continuous. 1 of my go to's now.
