La Lambretta in New Forest

we had a lovely evening! the atmosphere is lovely, but the food was even better. A few of our party had bruschetta to start and i can honestly say it was some of the best i've ever had. two of us also had pasta and the other two had pizza and there were no complaints, only empty plates. A little gem in fordingbridge.

Wonderful genuine homemade pasta, great friendly service, so good we booked for the following evening. Not over priced either!

Always great. Being local we have a great choice of pubs and restaurants but La Lambretta is where the family chooses to go. Always terrific food and service.

Hhmmm really beautiful and fine place to try. Such lovelyyy food and set in a lovely atmosphere. The service was just delightful and so on the ball, almost perfect. I wish we lived closer to come again.

Lovely restaurant. Catered for our specific dietary requirements without any issue and the food and staff were spot on. The meatball dish I had was fantastic. Go here!

This is a superb restaurant. Marco and his staff always make us feel welcome. That is an art. The food is fresh, very tasty and plentiful. The staff readily engage with us and make us feel appreciated. The whole restaurant is spotless, but has plenty of character. We cannot praise them highly enough. Short of offering free food or moving the restaurant closer to Lancashire where we live, I cannot see how they can improve....!!! 😂😀👍

This is at least the third review I have written for La Lambretta. Over the years Marco has maintained and improved his menu and services consistently. Th food is so good and every time we visit we are welcomed by the wonderful team. Marco's team are so professional and also have 'personalities' and can engage with ages. The only thing I don't like about La Lambretta is the location!! I live in Lancashire so only manage to get there when visiting my mother in law or if we plan a trip south. For genuine, authentic Italian cuisine, professionally served in a great atmosphere, try La Lambretta in Fordingbridge.

Amazing food and lovely atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed their meal - pizzas were fresh, thin and crispy and pastas delicious. Kids (and adults) all said we cannot wait to return.

Wonderful meal this evening to celebrate my birthday. This restaurant lived up to expectations and more. Great wine list, we really enjoyed the Amarone. The menu was wonderful especially the pasta with garlic prawns and tomatoes and for dessert, lemoncello and Prosecco sorbet. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It was a wonderful evening. Can highly recommend this restaurant

Went on a Friday night and the fact every table was being used shows that the restaurant is popular. We’ve been several times now but never got round to leaving a review until now. La Lambretta has a comprehensive pizza and pasta menu but also offers 3 specials such as steak, fish or chicken. Over our visits we have had pizza, pasta and specials and they all impress. They have a good team of young, but well trained and efficient servers. Even when the restaurant is really busy everything still runs smoothly. Good drinks list and the pricing is right. Well done La Lambretta - we look forward to our next visit.

Lovely restaurant lovely waitresses Ordered chicken in mushroom sauce On visiting quite a few italian restaurants this usually comes with potato and vegetables. This came with bagged mixed lettuce which I'm a bit wary of at the moment with all the press about it. Chicken was tasty but just felt the bagged salad spoilt it. Cone on lambretta put a bit of vege with it.

We stopped here after visiting a local historic house and couldn't have been happier. The service was exceptional (the young lady waiting the garden tables, with lighter long hair), quality of the food was outstanding, especially the pizzas. They now have a garden you can sit in out the back with some tables in the shade of the grapevine.

I had a terrible meal and would never eat here again. The pizza I ordered was so undercooked I had to waste most of it. What I did eat was bland and tasteless! I would rather eat a supermarket frozen pizza than ever come here again!!!

We have found our ‘ go to ‘ place for exquisite Italian food ! This is the second time in three years that myself and my husband have eaten at the restaurant,once when we were camping in 2021 and today (31st May ) whilst holidaying in Milford on Sea. The service also was fabulous with very attentive young waitresses with lovely smiles . We will definitely be back much sooner than the 3 years previously ! ! Compliments to the amazing chefs for such authentic Italian cuisine 😋😋😋

Dining at La Lambretta in the New Forest was an absolute delight. The cozy ambiance set the perfect stage for a menu filled with both classic and inventive Italian dishes. The staff's warm and attentive service only enhanced our experience, making it clear why this spot is a must-visit for any Italian cuisine enthusiast.

Had a wonderfull evening here on Sat night! Could not fault anything! The young ladies serving were so helpful and courteous. Fabulous restaurant!!

We visited after a lot of very good reviews but unfortunately our experience wasn't great. My tomato based pasta dish was extremely salty, to the point that my mouth felt terrible after three mouthfuls. The waiting staff spoke with the chef and I was told there wasn't any salt in the dish at all which I found hard to believe. It was my guess that when making the sauce salt had been mistaken for sugar. I was offered an alternative but couldn't taste any garlic in the garlic oil sauce and all the pasta at the table was just that bit too hard. Most disappointingly I overheard the waiting staff complaining to each other that I had complained about my dish so I didn't feel comfortable feeding back that the pasta was hard. It's a shame as we are local but I'd rather travel out for Italian next time. My husband did say the calzone was the best he'd eaten though. Really disappointed.

I visit this restaurant to meet friends from Poole and Sailsbury and it is always superb food. I had a chicken escalope with a mushroom sauce, potatos and vegetables and it was very nice. I definitely recommend the tiramsu for pudding. Great service.

The service and food was of a very high standard as usual. The food was piping hot as we like it and there was a good selection to choose from. We'll done Marco and team.

£20 for a bowl of pasta?? 3 tiinnyy meatballs. Not even tasty. Plus have stopped doing delivery. Used to be great, I don't know if new owners but massive disappointment on all levels

Great pizza restaurant serving pasta and other dishes. Popular with the locals (we’re among them). Marco presides over the kitchen. Gustavo over the restaurant. Guitarist on Thursday nights. The pizza is terrific - try the Rudy with extra artichokes.

If I lived nearer I would be at La Lambretta every week. We've visited twice now and each time was wonderful. The food is wonderful and the staff and atmosphere make for a very pleasant dining experience. The menu gives enough variety without being too extensive and it's definitely worth checking out the Specials. You also get a lot for your money - the prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food makes it all worth it. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. I know that we'll definitely be coming back again.

La Lambretta is just lovely. Very authentic, low key but a lovely atmosphere. We ate before going to the cinema. Marco and his team were wonderful. We had delicious home made pasta and vitello with a delicious local mushroom sauce, served with perfect timing to get us out on time but very un-rushed. Highly recommended.

Our favourite local restaurant, we go every week and our two girls pester us to "go to Marco's" all the time, they love it too! :-)

Very nice Italian restaurant. They make great pizzas with freshly made dough In a large pizza oven which I think is wood fired (not sure) but great pizzas anyway. The pasta is home made. I think the sweets are too. It's really lovely Italian food beautifully prepared. Very friendly and nice atmosphere.

Came down and stayed at fordingbridge for 3days while touring on our motorcycles, came here on Thursday and Friday evening, fantastic experience, food was amazing and atmosphere brilliant , very friendly people all staff were a credit to you Sir . We always make a least one visit to this restaurant when on holiday in the area. Would be there once a week if we lived locally! We always book ahead as it gets very busy. Food , prices and service all excellent.

Wow what a gem! We managed to snag a table in a very booked up restaurant, packed with locals which is always a good sign. It was our daughter’s birthday and they brought out ice cream with a candle singing happy birthday! Food was delicious, we even got a real treat by getting the chance to see our pasta being made freshly by hand!

A wonderful modern Italian restaurant. We had some delicious starters, the ruby pizza was great as was the bolognaise Ragu. We had our little dog with us as we were visiting the area and they kindly accommodated us. Would highly recommend!

Amazing food, reasonable prices, and really helpful and friendly staff. Also very accomodating as we kept changing the number of covers on the booking!! Kicking myself that we didn't find this place sooner as we only live 15 minutes away. P.s. very good options for gluten free and veggie diners.

Great little Italian restaraunt

Came for dinner as a couple, slight delay on our table but was no hesitance in being offered a round of drinks on the house which was much appreciated. All the food we had was delicious, perfect portion sizes and came out quickly considering how busy they were. Would definitely come again when in the area!

Friendly and helpful staff giving good service. Nice atmosphere. Calamari starter well presented but it was rubbery and difficult to eat. A difficult dish to cook well if done so from frozen!. Food a little disappointing as pasta undercooked which surprised me for an Italian restaurant. Pizza was OK but not as good as expected from Italian restaurant. Fair prices and adequate choices on the menu. Didn't want to be picky about standard of food as they were busy and trying very hard to make everyone welcome. Will go back again to give it another try on a quiet night to see how it goes. (if they will have me)

Excellent pizza's. Most of our party had one of the various calzone pizzas on offer. All very tasty. We had our little dog with us and they were fine with that. Staff were attentive and friendly. We would definitely go again.

The food is fantastic. That's it. Best Italian for miles in my opinion. We live in Bournemouth and consider it well worth the drive out to Fordingbridge. Clean everywhere, professional and efficient service. Nice touch where the chef (who might also be the owner I think) popped out in his kitchen whites to say hi to some customers. Pricing is good as well. Been before and can safely say, every visit has been to the same standard. Thanks

Beautiful food and great service. We have already booked up to visit again. 25th Nov 22 we have visited again with family and can highly recommend the pan fried chicken with a rosemary and milk sauce with oven baked potatoes and carrots. The best meal I have had this year.

First night on holiday and have no food in so swung by for a takeaway pizza. I was only 2 miles away and it was ready as soon as I arrived. Delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were really nice too. Highly recommend

A lovely evening meal here tonight, the food was delicious (especially the desserts!😍) and Marco and his team were really welcoming, providing excellent service. They gave us a free zucchini taster which was a kind gesture and nice surprise as well as Italian biscotti when the bill arrived, lovely!
