Event happens once a month and normally books up very fast so you have to be quick. Wear loose fitting clothes and pace yourself because there's lots to come. We take our pudding home to good to leave behind.😁

This was our first visit and we had a delicious Sunday Lunch. The roast beef was incredibly tender and the vegetables were nicely cooked. For afters, the date slice (with custard) was amazing! Please note this café is open daily to the public, not just to those visiting the hospice. It helps to raise vital funds for the excellent work that goes on there.

As 2 places with the same name, so not sure if this is the same place we went to , near the police department in Newport. This cafe is owned by a super friendly and funny Irish lady who came there in the 90’s and didn’t leave. I’ve never had such a delicious breakfast, as the menu was so different. My friends had some favorites from Ireland and we were all so impressed. I asked her to come to Long Island and set up shop there. There will be lines around the block.

Well this is the best restaurant we have been to this year, the only place we could compare it with is the Lobster Grill in Fort Lauderdale Florida , everything was perfect , great food , wonderful staff and a greeting from the owner when we arrived , the lobster was cooked to perfection , A great wine list with some new world wines and French favourites our group of four had a great time .

Good restaurant with a smallish but varied menu (most meals £15-20), just a 10 minute drive from the ferry port. Food for 5 took about 10-15 minutes and was very tasty. Only complaint was that they make you sit in the bar area if you have a dog. It wasn't too bad but definitely less comfortable than the main seating area.

Lovely relaxing Friday lunch at this well run, friendly and efficient cafe. Wide choice menu at affordable prices. Lovely courtyard Garden. Relaxing entertainment with quality guitarist was brilliant. Always worth a regular visit. Family friendly too. Best cafe in Newport.

Amazing food and service. My mum and I visited the Isle of Wight and I had read that this restaurant served gluten free food. We didn’t see that they had decided to close for lunch that day so I was so so disappointed as I had driven there for that reason. They decided to serve just my mum and me so we had the whole restaurant for ourselves, it was just the kindest thing and so so appreciated. The food was amazing. What a incredible service just truly grateful. Best place to eat.

In General my Reviews for now will focus on 3 Parts 1. How they deal with the pandemic situation 2. Service 3. Food, glorious food Only take out 1) separate entrance and exit, clean waiting area 2) this could not have been better a keen young team helpful and enjoying working together, when the guy preparing my food noticed that I would share it somebody he double backed and double accessorised it 5/5 3) creative panini and well prepared coffees- finally somebody on the island who knows milk needs to be steamed and not nuked- thank you

A hidden gem on the outskirts of Newport. A quaint oldy worldly tea shop with amazing food and amazing staff. On entering we were greeted by a lovely lady who sat us down and presented us with menus and showed us the specials board. So much to choose from but having followed them on Facebook for a while I saw a new menu had come out and knew what I would like to try. I had the Staplers Hash which consists of sausages pots beetroot and roasted toms( of which I changed to an egg) with no bother. With a side of toasted Sourdough bloomer. One word incredible a large bowl of happiness and love of gorgeous food.My friend had Broccoli and Stilton soup with crusty bread which I tried it was amazing 🤩 To follow a massive piece of carrot cake to share as it was Huge!! Through chatting with the lady who showed us to our table it turns out she was the owner! A very welcoming warm and passionate person who loves what she does(Thank you Nat!) I would highly recommend you go there it’s a bit of the beaten track down a gravel road but wow it’s totally worth it you will not be disappointed. Thank you all we will be back very soon

Disappointing visit. We used to come here regularly, but it seems to lack a bit of the personal touch now. The table that we used needed a clean and I was disappointed to find that you no longer get your card stamped for each drink you purchase, but it is now for each visit! The cups seem smaller or it's the prices that have just got higher.....
