Love Coffee in Isle of Wight

In General my Reviews for now will focus on 3 Parts 1. How they deal with the pandemic situation 2. Service 3. Food, glorious food Only take out 1) separate entrance and exit, clean waiting area 2) this could not have been better a keen young team helpful and enjoying working together, when the guy preparing my food noticed that I would share it somebody he double backed and double accessorised it 5/5 3) creative panini and well prepared coffees- finally somebody on the island who knows milk needs to be steamed and not nuked- thank you

Stopped by on a whim one wet December afternoon and was glad we did. Delicious coffee, hot chocolate and milkshakes - plus panini, snacks, etc. - something for everyone. Plenty of comfy chairs help you to take it easy for half an hour or so. Would recommend.

So lush amazing livly staff and cozzy little shop If you go there just pls get a milk shake .........

I give love coffee 5 stars and they are excellent in this Town Newport! Where else to go ? Good price for coffee and excellent service, the cakes are not that great ( price and size) but that’s everything to say ! Blessings wolfy

We dropped into ‘Love Coffee’ in Newport whilst on an organised coach trip to the town and before re-joining our coach for the trip back to the hotel. We like to use small independent coffee shops in preference to the large chains when possible. The interior of the coffee shop has a contemporary feel about it with a large flat screen television at one end and a counter selling a good range of snacks and drinks in addition to the usual variations of coffee. The café can accommodate a good number of customers and on the afternoon of our visit (Saturday in March), was fairly busy. We ordered four ‘skinny’ latte coffees and these were nice, not too bitter and served hot. Customer toilets were available at the rear of the café. Would certainly consider another visit if we were in the area in the future.

Am new to the island, I have been here on a few occasions. The coffee, toasted sandwiches and smoothies are excellent. The service is always warm, polite, friendly efficient and welcoming. Very reasonably priced. They even allow doggies which is great!

Really friendly staff and reasonable prices. Free WiFi and quiet place to work and a large upstairs.

I had two takeaway coffees from here while in the town. It's good coffee, and the service from the ladies in mauve is fast and efficient. This would be my first choice for a coffee takeout in Newport. Good coffee--tick. Quick service---tick.

My 13 year old Son absolutely loves the milkshakes..He pops in regularly.They really are worth a try!! Exspecially the Kinder Beanu. Highly recommend *****

I have been a regular customer at Love Coffee for the past 6 years or so, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Best coffee and service anywhere!

I am a massive coffee lover and I like to support independent coffee shops rather than the big chains like costa that is just down the road However the coffee isn’t the best But their hot chocolate and shakes are amazing! The food is reasonably priced and tastes very nice. The staff are extremely polite and say “thank you bye” on your way out which I just love because it’s like they actually appreciate your custom. I come in weekly and will continue to I love this place

Not the best coffee in Newport. The latte was pretty much all foam (not froth) which was a let down. The shakes there are AMAZING. They are always delicious and are the best part of the drinks menu. However the service was a bit on the poor side. When I was giving my order the coffee had no saucer and seemed very much a turnover and no care from the lady. She was blunt and shouted the order and slapped it on the table so was a bit annoyed. Only reason it's not 2 star is because the Oreo shake was amazing. Would rather go Costa or Cafe Isola rather than here. Oh and the interior is not welcoming

We would highly recommend a visit here. We had a hot chocolate and double espresso. Reasonable priced. The cakes look lovely, will try next time. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

This place does the best deluxe milkshakes. Highly recommend. I took my young baby in their to feed he was very upset and staff were very friendly.

Great cafe and brilliant LOCAL alternative! Their milkshakes are to die for, the hot chocolates, wow! They also have plenty of seating upstairs and free wifi, so it's great for meetings or socialising! (I'm secretly here way to often! ;) )

Me and my wife popped in for a milkshake. My wife had the white kinda beono. Whilst i had the Hershey cookie and cream. The were both fantastic and reasonably priced. Will recommend.

Called in for a quick bite and was not disappointed; fine coffee, lovely snacks and overall a splendid treat!

When a baby starts crying you look for the first place to change and feed them!

Searching for something sweet to see us through to dinner, we found this friendly place. Staff seemed to know the regulars, but made everyone welcome. Good selection of cakes and treats, the chocolate GF cheesecake tasted every bit as indulgent as it looked and I was still salivating over otber possibilities. Coffe good and made a change from the usual Costa.

We quite often use love coffee for a drink when in town. They do a decent brew, what more do I want than that.

My daughter and I had a lovely turkey/bacon & mayo toasted sandwich , also some wonderful cake, all washed down with a large mug of tea & a soya hot chocolate. Would highly recommend eating here any day of the week.😃

Visited here on xmas eve as the place we usually go was closed. Love Coffee has great tasting well priced coffee & a good selection of drinks. It was quite busy and they forgot one of our panninis but gave all 3 of us a slice of chocolate fudge cake to say sorry which more than made up for it! Great service and value.

on the way to French Franks I came upon LC and decided to give it a try. The coffee was ok but nothing special, my cake was nice and the options pretty good, service was very friendly and prompt but the seating is pretty basic and not particularly enjoyable. The place was very busy so clearly popular but it could learn a lot from Coffee No1 and Mettricks.

The coffee is great and the staff are really friendly. They bring your drinks to the table and it is just great. Highly recommend.

Friendly and quick service. The paninis and hot chocolate are to die for. A bit expensive, but well worth it. I recomend it.

The premium milkshakes and smoothie are good everytime, had paninis a couple of times and are also really good... Great place for a pit stop

We were in Newport to kill some time before catching the ferry home and popped in to Love Coffee for a drink and some cake. The coffee was very nice and the cake, well that was amazing! Would definitely return.

Great for having a client meeting over a coffee! The service is first class, you get on with your meeting and they bring your drinks to your table!

Grats coffee great paninis and toasties all at a reasonable price, lots of seating upstairs. Friendly staff.

I Love this place. Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The range of drinks is huge, but I don't drink tea or coffee but the hot chocolates are the best, and the milkshakes are so delicious which ever you have. Defiantly beat the competitors in service, price and atmosphere, I'm most certainly a regular.

When i need a coffee i will try and come here over the bigger brands such as costa. Its a nice little coffee shop where you never feel rushed out. Shame the wifi never seams to work.

I avoid Starbucks as they don't pay their taxes and their deliberate mis spelling of your name is just annoying. I go here for a coffe and chat, nice staff, nearly always able to find a seat. Their iced coffee is especially good.

Great coffee shop. Lovely friendly staff and the food was delicious. Very attentive to the kids. We will be back.

I often meet my sons here for a catch up, it's a small independent coffee shop which does amazing hot chocolate and even better iced coffee. It's a popular place so there can be a bit of a queue at busy times but there is plenty of comfortable seating on two levels. And it's not Starbucks.

Coffee always very good, food is sandwiches, paninis etc and good value too. Staff friendly and efficient.

Call in before 11 and have coffee and bacon sandwich. Lots of bacon in the sandwich and only 99p if you buy a hot drink !

Great little place to either pick up a coffee, tea or cake. Much nicer than going to one of the big named coffee houses.

Baguettes, muffins, coffee, all freshly made in store. Lovely. Feels more like an independent coffee shop with morals and scruples. Which I LOVE

Really good coffee , panini etc, plenty of seating upstairs in busy downstairs , would recommend as well priced too and open Sundays

Went today, beautiful Panini's and very tasty coffee. The service was excellent, especially as they were busy and we came as a big group with a pushchair, very accommodating. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

A trip to Newport (Isle of Wight) meant we were getting quite thirsty and in need of a SERIOUS cup of REAL coffee, luckily we found Lovecoffee, and the thirst was satisfied, we will return, the selection of coffee;s was amazing
