Lovely food, great service. The steak was amazing and the chefs “homemade” coleslaw was out of this world. Would highly recommend a visit.

And we had such a great time. Great ambience, friendly and fun atmosphere. Felt like home. We will definitely be back to visit next time we’re on the Isle of Wight! 💗

2 newbies to the island who didn't book a table.. we tried 8 different restaurants and no one could seat us. 2 adults who just wanted a warm meal. And what can I say! Great selection on the menu all freshly cooked and IOW produce. Tapas, steak, burgers, cocktails and a really good Guinness (surger) Staff were fab and very accommodating. We will return! (Gammon was lush!)

We ate in and made to feel v welcome. Freshly cooked food, reasonably priced Decent pint of Guinness and friendly staff. Would recommend and come again

Sent 2 pints of coors back tasted off,changed the barrel pulled off fresh pint had to send that back cloudy. Food came my scampi came and tasted not good not sure when fat fryers oil was changed last. My wife ordered chilli this was way to spicy,we were not told it would be extra hot, complained about the chilli , but no reduction was offerd over bill, on the whole a bad experince,would not reccomend.

Had a great breakfast here. Arrived promptly, piping hot and very tasty. Staff very helpful and friendly. When we go next time. I will however ask for the toast to be on a separate plate as the baked beans were on the side of it.

Usually a good value breakfast means the meat is of a lower quality, but the sausages were locally sourced, huge & delicious. Same goes for the bacon. We really enjoyed our breakfast here and he didn't even charge the kids full price which was refreshing! We will definitely come back

Great little place, good local beer, and food freshly prep'd and cook to order. It was very quiet when we visited, but a very nice greeting from the owner who made us, our grandchild, and our little dog most welcome. We had some great mussels and a lovely fresh greek salad.

A lovely place for reasonably priced breakfasts. Very nice too. Definitely coming back. Coffee was really good too. Sausages are huge as from local butchers and bacon is lovely. You have to try the bubble n squeek. Highly recommended. Lovely owner Gary is. Very friendly. Licenced place too. Best breakfast on the island by a long shot.

We bought 2 lattes and a breakfaat bap (sausage, bacon & egg) which was cooked fresh. The owner was polite and friendly and made us aware that we'd have to wait for the food to be cooked. Pleased with everything and it cost less than £9 so very reasonable. Would definitely go here again :-)

A little gem tucked away in the high st, Fabulous food ! very friendly and helpfull staff, very nice layout inside ! Quality of the food and the way its cooked is 10 out of 10 ! i had the steak meal, everything on the plate was 1st class, my daughter had the fish and chips, we both left empty plates ! This is well worth visiting, and you wont be disapointed ! Familys or couples will like this and you will return ! Even something as simple as a bacon egg and mushroom sandwich was as tasty as it could be ! milk shakes and pop and beers all available ! highly recomendable !

Went here in September for breakfast, when they were in early days of opening. The owner was very welcoming and dealt with our order promptly. We all liked the fact that you can build your own breakfast too, keeps everyone happy and food waste down. We also were very surprised on the high quality of the ingredients used, local produce that was full of flavour (sausage/bacon) and fresh eggs, vegetables and bread. I can see you managed to get licensed too so your other half must of passed "the test" Well done. We will return on our next visit to shanklin. Thank you.

Good value for money fry up, they don't do set breakfast instead they let you build it. Open 7 days a week
