While in the Isle of Wight on a mini break staying in Shanklin and catching the bus to Newport I came in for a coffee and had a sausage roll as well and enjoyed the sausage roll and coffee

Disappointing visit. We used to come here regularly, but it seems to lack a bit of the personal touch now. The table that we used needed a clean and I was disappointed to find that you no longer get your card stamped for each drink you purchase, but it is now for each visit! The cups seem smaller or it's the prices that have just got higher.....

Fantastic coffee, friendly staff. Excellent atmosphere. One thing tho PLEASE put something on the feet of the chairs. The constant loud screeching is horrible Thanks.

Excellent lunch option including paninis, cakes an a variety of hot and cold drinks. Nice selection of different Panini fillings. Vast range of cakes to suit all tastes and obviously coffees, teas and shakes. We have been a number of times and each time we have enjoyed a really nice lunch or just a coffee. Would definitely recommend and will be back again when we are in Newport next.

Great location, friendly staff and a super tasty Oatmilk Latte and a sweet treat. As their shop front says, support your local caffeine dealer.

I'm not sure why this place gets so few reviews, unless they all keep getting added to the Cowes branch? They've reorganized the downstairs since our last visit and this has definitely improved the place. Great lattes as always. Thanks

Not as good a visit as previously. It was very busy and the table needed a clean, did ask, but they didn't do it until they brought the drinks over and I mentioned it again. They are losing customers as many walk in, find there is nowhere to sit and leave. They need to provide more seatings and reorganise the ground floor. There is an upstairs, but this is not clear to those that come in and getting to it is a little bit of a maze! Other than this, they make a fantastic latte.

We stopped here for lunch as we like to support local businesses. I have a lovely coffee and cup cake. They were very welcoming despite us having a double buggy and two small children with us! I would definitely return if i was in the area.

First time of visiting and we were impressed with the store. We were served by a lovely lady who apologised for our wait (we weren't waiting long anyway) and offered to bring our drinks over. The large lattes we ordered were really nice full frothy lattes (£2.70) . Lovely convenient location in the centre (in the old Starbucks) and all kept clean and tidy.

This place is famous for its views across the Solent, but only in the summer. In the winter the windows are always steamed up giving you near to no visibility outside. We didn’t eat but the menu looks good and average prices for the area. Drinks were more expensive than the Seaview Hotel just around the corner. +£1 per drink on gin & tonic. It was November on a Friday evening and all tables were reserved. We did sit at one of their best tables for our drink ‘Captain Ted’s Table’ and it was wobbly as hell. Felt like it was going to give way at any time. Come on this is an easy fix.

Good size meals, especially breakfasts. Good cuppa, no frills just true value, friendly staff. I would visit again and recommend this café.

We have been here many times over the years and looked forward to our visit again this year. What a disappointment. We had a cream tea which consisted of a pot of tea, 2 scones, butter, cream and jam. The jam and cream pots were half the size they used to be and the butter was barely there, adequate enough for one scone but certainly not two. The jug of milk supplied did not have enough milk for one cup of tea and we had to ask for extra. I do not drink tea and asked for my tea to be substituted with coffee, big mistake, it was undrinkable. Went we went to pay we were told 'cash only' and I was lucky to find some cash in the bottom of my bag. This should be made clear when you enter and before you order as a lot of people do not carry cash. Our experience was so different to every other visit we wondered if there were 'new owners' but overheard the owner telling other visitors that she had been there 17 years. Sadly will not be returning.

A very peaceful place to stay, in the centre of Newport, conveniently located, close to the bus station and to restaurants. Charming interiors, with a lot of character. Spacious, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast is served, and freshly prepared after the order is made. Hostess is friendly and Staff polite. We will definitely stay there again!
