Good sized Sunday Roasts, well cooked and presented. Service staff were pleasant and accommodating .Rest of the menu a little uninspiring. The battered fish was a little greasy rather than crispy and a bit bland. Overall OK and would go back for the roasts.

Only popped in here for a quick latte, lovely place, friendly staff, great coffee, tad dear but as we know where the money is going fine by us, oh and free entry and parking and then off to the paddocks to meet the stars of the show, what's not to like.

Great atmosphere, has an authentic American feel. Service was slow, but when food is cooked fresh to order, you really don't mind. The food was great and I didn't leave hungry! They catered very well for my nephew, who has multiple allergies. All staff were great, believe it's family run and owned.

One of the best pub Sunday lunches we've had in several years. The meat was succulent - and if you can't choose beef or port you can have half and half. The potatoes were crunchily roasted with soft interior. The Yorkshire puddings seemed a step above most pub versions being neither greasy nor, like so many places, perfect roundels straight from a freezer. There wasn't much green veg but the kale - normally not something I like - was salty and well prepared. Great with the beautifully prepared red cabbage. Big shared portion of cauliflower cheese included too, and - on request - extra gravy and really tangy horseradish. Frankly not much to criticise here and the desserts were brilliant too. We had heard someone say that the change of ownership a week or so back had caused a drop in standards but it's hard to believe that it was ever much better than this. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cafe, nothing was too much trouble. Extensive menu, something for everyone. Can’t understand some of the reviews on here as we loved it. Staff were very friendly. We had the sausage and bacon baguette, filled as much as it could be and served with salad and tortilla chips. I struggled with the size of the meal. Ham sandwiches were beautiful, lots of very good ham and served with crisps. Cream tea was more than ample, beautiful home made scone. Ice cream sundaes were HUGE, looked delicious. Dogs are allowed inside too. Can’t find a single fault with this little gem

If you visit Godshill, then this cafe is a must! They have a fabulous selection of homemade made cakes and fresh cream buns, all of a really good size and taste great. Coffees and teas are available at a reasonable price too. You can opt to sit out or in as they have loads of tables. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Visited twice in the week with our dog. Archie was welcomed and made at home. The bar was quite busy with people eating and they had obviously travelled quite a way to get there. They were notably all happy when the left and some even took doggy bags away because they thought they could eat their way through the fare but were unable to. We finished all ours and really wanted puddings but could not manage it. A rare opportunity to pig out on great food in a dog-friendly environment and to enjoy chatting with the staff and all the local people who were there. What a great atmosphere and great food. We even tried the JD drinks platter for research purposes! Not our first trip to the area, just to visit this great bar and it won't be the last. We will be back to enjoy the chats, food, drinks and cosiness.

Called without prior booking to this quaint pub/restaurant in the centre of South Wraxall. Old building with low ceiling, but nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Delicious fish pie with butter mash and seasonal greens. Large pieces of fish 4 different varieties.
