First visit to the cafe and enjoyed a very lovely Fathers Day cream tea. Delightful selection of sandwiches and cake. Very tasty sausage rolls. Normal menu offers a varied selection. Definitely added to our list of places to eat. Although we didnt take our dog, they are dog friendly with seating inside and out. Staff very friendly and attentive. A gem!

Absolutely rude and ill mannered member of staff told us to move our vehicles and staff parking only no signage or otherwise Needless to say we did not spend our money Avoid it like the plaque at all costs ( Until we get an apology)

I've been here a few times and the food has always been great but the the Landlady is NOT! If you fancy and good telling off for walking into a pub then this is the place!! You cant just turn up for food "you must book" i was meeting friends that had already ordered, I was told I wasn't allowed any food as they were too busy and i hadnt booked (it was a last minute decision to meet) but I could sit and watch my friend eat!. It was my friends 50th birthday and we took a cake which we were told was not allowed and to put it away or she will take it to the kitchen! We now take bets as to who is gonna get told off first but I actually don't think I will be returning.

Pub, Restaurant, Hotel. Seating areas, tables and 'booths'. Well run. Staff seat you, take your order and come back to check everything is ok. The food was very nice and great value with 3 courses from the fixed menu at £24.95. There was a good choice. I had chilli beef tacos to start, a flat iron steak with garlic butter and skin on fries main, and lemon cheese cake dessert. The deal included a drink and I had a bottle of Peroni. Olivia looked after us, and was cheerful, helpful and attentive.

Slightly off the beaten track but well worth the detour, you need a car really to get there but good free parking onsite. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Friday night so we got a nice table in a window alcove. The meal is varied and our food was very good. I would recommend

Went here today for afternoon tea with a friend. Absolutely delicious food (four types of sandwiches, lemon and blueberry cake, tiffin, brownie, bread pudding and scone with cream and jam). Service was attentive but left us to chat in peace as well. We were able to sit in the booth, which was great for a good natter. We'll definitely be back!

I used to love this place when it was The Navigstor. I’m not as keen on the decor but it was busy and a good environment. It was dinner after work so not a dressed up affair but there was a party celebrating something so it caters for all. Menu pretty standard. I opted for the flat iron steak which was nice enough but I wouldn’t have it again. Fries were good. Not a huge choice of desserts and of what they did offer two were unavailable. It was nice enough and ifd go back but not for a special occasion.
