The best restaurants in Town and Pier Dover South East

We were staying at Best Western and were pleasantly surprised to find this place open late. The food and service exceeded our expectations. Their Tikka Masala sauce is fantastic.

Unfortunately the service today was poor. Had to wait a while just for someone to come and take us to our table. Then a long wait for someone to come to take our order. An hour after we arrived we finally got our food. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. This has been the worse delay that I have had to suffer.

Good variety of sandwiches, the cakes were okay. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. There is the option to sit outside as well. Nice view on the Dover harbour, good place to watch the ferry.

We visited the Dover restaurant to celebrate my partners birthday. We had booked a table in the restaurant and upon arrival were seated in the cafe, not a very romantic setting to celebrate an important occasion.... we were not happy with the service and I submitted a complaint to the restaurant in January, this hasn't been acknowledged or replied to. Poor all around. I had hoped they could handle the complaint with good customer service which would have resulted in us trying them again. We are disappointed and the family won't visit again.

I walked into this Waterfront Bar & Lounge early morning after a lovely zen walk along the seafront with my family. Then visited the cafe, then was greeted by a member of staff with a very unfriendly demeanour no morning greeting - I was greeted with a grumpy face and was told “we are busy so you will have to wait! “ So I walked out and went to COSTA - I like to support local business but not this occasion!

Absolutely disgusting!!! I wouldn’t even feed this food to my dog if I had one! This was food sent for my brother and family to break their fast. Food was 35mins late. It couldn’t be anymore charred! When I called they said it was not burnt. They said they would resend the food out. They did not! My brother went to the shop and they instead shouted at my brother and insisted that the food was fine. They did not give refund or replacement. This is absolutely disgusting. How can such people carry out such business, with no regards to the customer or their food. I am unable to contact Just Eat. I feel absolutely disgusted and disappointed with such behaviour. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE PLEASE! They’re not even worthy of 1 star!!! They have stolen my money!

Had the best afternoon tea with outstanding personal service. Staff were wonderful and food was great too and a lovely choice of teas.

2nd time of ordering here, and 2nd time it's gone wrong. Never again. Ordered a boss box for me and 2 kids meals at 4:50pm. Kids meals turned up at 5:30pm but with no chips. Called the store, was offered double chips on next order. Why would I want double chips? Asked for a refund or chips to be delivered. Was told chips will come and over an hour later and still nothing. Absolutely useless. Update at 8:50pm.... Still nothing. Be warned people, do not use these rip off merchants who will take your money and not supply the food.
