Food delivered hot tasty would definitely recommend them

Waited 3 hours for it never to turn up. I have used these guys for years, not happy at all.

The food is always very tasty, but delivery is hit and miss, they gave a delivery window of 20:20-20:40 and it turned up at 20:53. Appreciate they were busy, but an ordered at 19:18… with estimated 45-60 min delivery, which was actually 60-75 mins

I visited this place last year with my family we loved it so i came back and it is still amazing as it was before the staff are professional and very welcoming place is clean and the food is great

The food had clearly been cooked to order but had been sat around waiting to be delivered for an hour and a half- hence the curries were cold, the samosa soggy and the bread hard!

Onion bhaji was chewy. Salad looked like it had been sweating one out in that plastic bag for the last week and was brown and inedible Poppadoms were stale. Everything was lacking in flavour. Meat was just about acceptable if I have to find a positive. Took over two hours for delivery which I wouldn’t have minded so much if the food was decent. First and last time ordering from here!! On a plus the delivery driver was sweet and apologetic for the delay which was nice.

Wouldn't usually leave a review but it took 2 hours to deliver and was not only cold but poor quality. We didn't even order much.

The fish curry was fantastic. The cauliflower curry was goo, except that the cauliflower itself was rather watery and tasteless. But this is a minor thing compared to the sauce which was fantastic.

Lovely hot tasty meal for 1 & plenty left for another day too!

Our order was a little late but it was not a problem as our house can be hard to find, the delivery lady was very nice and said sorry your order was late, the food was still hot so no complaints, we will be ordering again

The madras was watery and tasteless and the saga aloo was burnt and dry. Very disappointed

Food was excellent, and very large portions, and delivered to our hotel ultra quick, we would highly reccomend them..

Chicken was dry and tough. Korma was spicy and the sauce was grainy and not pleasant. A shame as ordered regularly and not had an issue. Won’t be coming back unfortunately

Would definitely recommend them loved the food hot tasty a little expensive but what isn't these days.

The restaurant quoted 30-40 minutes delivery time before we ordered. When we ordered, it stated 1h for delivery - But it took 1h45m. They marked the order as delivered when it hadn’t been, and didn’t answer the phone. The food wasn’t very hot either, so not a very a good experience at all.

Very few Indian restaurants in Dover but this is the best !!!

Sadly this was 2 hours late and completely cold when it arrived. Very poor service and quality.

Although we waited 75 minutes for our stater we can not fault the food, fantastic fresh tasty huge portions . Staff very good .

Late giving this place a review as visited during a stay in Dover back at the end of April but had to do it as we really recommend it. Food was really tasty, staff really nice. Had the Magic Mushroom starter which was amazing and so tasty and it had one of the best pickle trays we have ever had and we have eaten at a lot of curry restaurants over the years. Would definitely be back if we are back in Dover,

We had chicken korma, onion bhajis , Sade Chawal (boiled rice) and a vegetable platter and it was all delicious! Generous portions, nice and hot, and the korma was the best we ever tasted, really sweet, thick creamy sauce and not oily - lovely.

I order sometime twice a week best place to eat best food I can't fault

Ordered our food and the delivery time stated was 45 minutes to an hour. After waiting 25 minutes past the latest delivery time stated i called the restaurant. They told me they were busy, unlikely i thought as this was early on a thursday evening? And that our food was still in the kitchen and would be out soon. The food arrived another 30 minutes later which meant our delivery was well over an hour late and 2 hours after I ordered the food!! If you want your food quickly do not order from Cinnamon Island!!! The delivery driver was lovely and the food was hot and ok quality. I am not sure if they forgot our order as something doesn't add up?

My partner and I ordered our meal at 6.27pm and were informed it would arrive between 7.10 and 7.35pm. Sometime later our order was timed at 7.40 and 8.00pm. It didn’t arrive until 8.10pm. At least the driver said he was sorry for the delay but they were very busy. Pitiful. The food itself was excellent, beautifully cooked, tender main courses and full of flavour. Can’t fault the food but their time management is appalling which made our meal time very late and we both suffered

For a Tuesday evening the delay wasn't expected.On a Friday or Saturday but to wait over an hour passed the said delivery time is very disappointing for such a great restaurant.

Wanting an authentic Bangladeshi experience I had the ‘Staff Curry’ from the menu, with the recommended pilau rice. It was very hot but absolutely delicious.

Disappointing experience tonight, especially as food from cinnamon island is usually excellent. Food was ordered at 7.45 and originally set for delivery at 8.30. This was pushed back to 8.50 and then again to 9.30. It was marked on app as delivered at 9.20 so a call to the restaurant revealed it was still in the kitchen awaiting a delivery driver. It eventually turned up at 9.40. The food itself wasn’t up to the usual high quality, stodgy rice, burnt naan breads and greasy bhajis among the lowli

My husband and I visited the restaurant last weekend whilst staying at the Marine Hotel. When we arrived at the restaurant we were the only guests so were a little worried but it soon filled up and I cannot tell you how wonderful our food was. In fact, it was the best Indian meal we’ve ever had!!! The service was wonderful too and plenty of happy smiling staff, nothing was too much trouble. My only negative is that we live too far away to visit again any time soon. Thank you 🙏🏻 Cinnamon Island

The lamb was tough,I’ve tasted better quality elsewhere.they used to cook really nicely but over the years the quality has definately gone down I’ve ordered from them for nearly 11 years now and it’s never tasted so bad! The meat should have been tender and easy to chew but it was like eating rubber! Please do better!

We have tried a few Indian restaurants in Dover and this is the best one! Excellent food, friendly staff, special thanks to Reyhan who served us last night. All the dishes both vegetarian and non vegetarian were very tasty.

We have ate at this restaurant since 2021. We live in France and always stay in Dover on our way to visit family. Generally visit Cinnamon Island 4-6 times a year and our most recent trip we ate here on 2 consecutive nights. The waiters are always very friendly and attentive and no different on this occasion. We have never had a bad experience with staff or food. Recommendations,I would say that everything we have eaten has been delicious and we would find it difficult to make specific choices.

Not only was it delicious, but it was piping hot too. The best food delivery I’ve had in taste, freshness and heat!

Dopiaza was swimming in oil. Onion bahjis were not cooked through. Soggy wet uncooked batter. Disappointed as this is the best Indian about normally.

Upon food arriving was left at door for I don't know how long was left there.wouldnt have been so bad as I could've heated it up but the whole order was completely wrong when I phoned the restaurant there was nothing that could be done as must've been driver error I have spent a lot of money on this meal and is not what I ordered I would like a complete refund NOW I am not happy

The Biryani was far too salty, and the vegetable curry sauce bland. Shame, as last time it was amazing.

Chips were like oven chips fried tasteless mint sauce was watered down. Onion bajee coagulated and hard. Pomperdoms were damp and not crispy. Chicken Korma was ok.

Arrived quickly, food was hot and crispy, curries were spot on, nothing greasy, large portion sizes so plenty for each of us and picky bits leftover for tomorrow. Ordered from here a few times now, never disappointed :)

The food was amazing! I have always been wary of ordering from different places but our last place has messed up so many times so it was time to try a new place! We was recommended here and I can honestly say we will be ordering again! We had; Murgh Makhani, this was so flavourful with chicken tikka pieces and cheese was absolutely beautiful! Lamb korma, amazing flavourful not watery and the lamb was so tender Sag Aloo potatoes were cooked perfectly all round perfect! Onion Bhaji, perfectly cooked not burnt to a crisp and actually edible Only down fall was the mint yogurt it was spicy and the papadoms they was dry and not crunchy Overall it was a perfect Indian 100% recommended

The chicken was undercooked and pink in the middle still.

Very good food, service and a back-drop out the window of Dover Castle in pink evening sunshine! What more could you want. The dishes were well flavoured and not all the same sauce as is often the case. Chicken and lamb dishes were good quality and binding bhaji and veg curry were fresh. We will return!

Probably the best Indian food I ever tasted - really carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. Attentive service, friendly staff and reasonably priced too. Shame I don’t live locally as this would be my ‘go to’ place !

Never had a bad curry from here, probably the best in the area but unfortunately getting a little expensive!

This was my first order. The food did taste excellent, lamb was neatly trimmed of fat and fell apart in the mouth, though like the chicken seemed to be small in quantity and lost in the quantity of sauce. Unfortunately although we ordered 2 popadoms and chutney (and price wise we should have had a free popadom) no popadoms delivered! So mixed feelings lovely food but a bit diddled.

Two very nice curries delivered on time. Both were tasty, spicy, well cooked and seasoned. The one rice was so fluffy and light I just don’t know how they do it. We both commented on the rice. All in all a very good and enjoyable meal.

Was looking for some Indian food whilst in Dover. Stumbled across this one. Thought give it a go. Was fantastic all the food was delicious. Best Garlic Nan bread I’ve eaten.
