Can’t fault it, lovely food delivered quickly

Absolutely awful. Food never arrived and the person on the phone was unbelievably rude. Honestly never seen anything like it before. Avoid this place at all costs!

Use to be okay, now just awful with poor customer service. Avoid, there’s better option in Dover.

Half on the sweet potato fries weren’t cooked

A great place to go in Dover for a coffee or a few beers. Always great food as well with a lovely chilled environment. I’ve been going there for years and will continue to do so. Friendly staff and a fantastic location - what more can you want!

2 1/2 hours late. Meal was ice cold. It was frozen scampi and chips just cooked. I could have done that myself. I’ve have several orders cancelled by this hotel and now this. Never will I order from here again. They obviously can’t cope with restaurant and JustEat. My meal was refunded by JustEat thank you.

Macaroni cheese with pulled pork was nice, would have liked a little more pulled pork. I did put a little salt, pepper and garlic granules but that was more for my preference. Quick delivery and food was lovely and hot. Will order again from here

Visited this cafe with a friend in August. Had fish finger sandwich. Coming out of cafe and on way home felt ill. As soon as I got home I was shivering and passed out before violently vomiting. I phoned cafe next day and was told they would investigate and phone me within next 48 hours…..one month later still waiting for phone call. I phoned them yesterday and told them I was doubly disappointed for the awful food and for them not bothering to phone me back. They said manager would ring me back……still waiting! Wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Absolutely awful! We were charged £16.50 for a main dish of macaroni cheese with pork which arrived and was the same size as the £4 side dish and when we requested a refund this wasn’t given on the basis of the restaurant having their own portion sizes… it makes no sense. All the food was terrible apart from the burger which was okay but massively overpriced. Will never order from here again.

For what I paid it was pitiful there wasn't enough for a toddler totally unsatisfied

Been at waterfront bar few times and I would say them cocktails and the service in a town like Dover, magical. Cha rehab Krishna them boys are starts pumping money to the business like it’s they own business! Good luck boys and highly recommend!!

Rude staff, my friends and I had lots of coffees and just wanted a croissant as the breakfast buffet was all dried up and rather disgusting looking. The manager was rude and kept asking us to leave as we didn't want the buffet, do not recommend.

Calamari very disappointing as very small compared to a previous order. Fries were cold Salad was OK a little bland

The drinks arrived with half the liquid missing. Why can’t you use trays or put them in something that doesn’t leaked. Now I am missing half my drinks

We didn’t get the three cans of lemonade we paid for and ordered. The delivery man said he had nothing! Unfortunately the food was stone cold. We have ordered lots of time from this restaurant and it’s normally spot on.

My friend and I popped for a bite to eat and a few drinks. The drinks were prompt but were told that the sharing platter we wanted didn’t have the items we required. We decided to order chicken wings chips and onion rings instead. The food arrived and was very creasy underwhelming and not enough to share. Then about 10 mins later these two attractive women came and ordered the sharing platter we wanted and received the lot? They had mini burgers, coleslaw, ribs, chicken wings, chips onion rings. Am I missing something here or is this establishment Sexist?!!!

Today I visited the hotel for a coffee at Starbucks and the reception staff were amazing! Thank you George and Chelsea for helping me find the coffee shop and after assisting me whilst buying a bracelet as a gift for my mum.

Order was incorrect. Spend £4 on a coffee with the rest of the food and they don’t even sent the coffee. Restaurant won’t answer the phone.

Food was delicious. One of the better takeaways I’ve had in a long time. Was piping hot too.

We used to enjoy going here for coffee and sitting outside in good weather. They have now started pumping out loud music during the day which spoils the peace and tranquillity of the area and makes it hard to have a conversation. Why? Have it inside if you must but to noise pollute the surrounding outside area is unacceptable. I feel sorry for those staying in the rooms just above the outside cafe area who have to put up with this all day.

Chicken salad was a little over priced for takeaway. Gnocchi came was lovely but missing mushroom and green salad. To eat in it would be slightly expensive, for takeaway, far too expensive

Food quality was appalling the BLT was so greasy even the lettuce was soaked in oil. It was so greasy the sandwich fell apart when touched. Totally inedible. Also fries were delivered instead of coffee!

Beautiful sunny day and as we are local popped in for sandwiches and coffee and sat outside. The coffee arrived presented beautifully but the coffee was like hot water. No taste at all. We asked the waiter to make them again and the manager who was behind him said no problem and they went inside. We had tuna sandwiches brought to us by the waiter. When I picked up my sandwich (tuna no cucumber on white bread) it was STALE. went inside and asked for my money back. He said it would appear on my card within a few days. I am hoping not to have to go back as we will not be returning.

Food was on point just the way it came Packaged was a bit off for the price chips just open in a plastic bag whilst the burgers were secure in a box

Called in for a light lunch at this well located Dover Hotel. It was busy and we were able to sit at the bar. We ordered a club sandwich and mozzarella fries which arrived quickly and were well presented and delicious. Really good quality food, cooked perfectly and very tasty. Charming, attentive service. Can recommend!

Once again I visited the Dover Marine Hotel for coffee and lunch. It's always such a pleasurable experience. The staff are extremely friendly and highly efficient. Today Max Lyster made my morning with his friendly and attentive service. I always look forward to seeing him as he is one of my favourite staff members and I know I will be well looked after. I highly recommend you give this hotel a visit.

Some friends and I visited for our annual Christmas lunch out - the food was beautiful,the organisation was spot on, everything was great. All the staff were lovely but Sian stood out in particular, she is an asset to your hotel, we cannot wait to visit again next year. Merry Christmas

Under average burger and chips , over priced

Really lovely food but my feta salad was over priced and they filled most of it with mixed salad leaves. Other than that it was delicious, fresh and the delivery driver was very friendly. Will definitely order again.

Sunday lunch outside, last minute visit. The service was quick and attentive. A simple meal comprising a Club Sandwich and Ham Sandwich, with coffee and local sparking water.The food was really enjoyable, well priced and good value. Our waiter was charming. He was anxious about dropping anything as apparently Management charge staff for any breakages! Really? In 2021? Note to Management: That practice belongs in the past, you are lucky to employ good staff and they will ultimately move on if you treat them that way!Worth a visit but watch our for feudal management policies.

Absolutely wonderful meal good value for money loved every bit of it definitely order this again.

Missing dessert …. Expensive dessert I’m very unhappy about that as the prices of the food is very high.

Got into the Hotel Late and ended up eating a bacon cheeseburger and chips at a nice table overlooking Dover Beach. Food was good beer was cold and the service was fine

Ordered 2 coffees from Dover marina which sells costa coffee but when we arrived to collect it was from their sister restaurant next door that sells Starbucks which neither of us like. Would not have ordered if I'd realised. Use the restaurant and bar at the Marina a lot and can't fault the food, staff or service normally. Just disappointed about the coffee. 5 stars normally!

Second time I ordered an afternoon, quality was not as good. Crusts left on some sandwiches. The scone was dry. Really disappointed as the previous one was the best I’ve had.

When the food eventually arrived, (after 3 delivery time changes) it was stone cold. There delivery driver had no bag to keep the food warm. An evening ruined!

Best fish & chips delivered.. ever! By a country mile. Yes, it costs £13.95 pp but if you can afford it it is restaurant quality. CRISPY chips! Shake the box and they rattle. Awesome food. An offering of haddock would be a great addition to the menu.

The don’t tell you that there is cheese on all the burger and then refuse to give you a refund when you bring it up to them

Really great food best delivery burger and food I’ve had yet from just eat could do with more blue cheese on the burger but other than that it was lovely would also recommend doing a kids menu because I had to order two sides for my 7 years old daughter

We ordered 2x full English breakfasts (which should have included 2x eggs & 2x sausages on each), but only received 1 of each item, I also requested not to include tomato on 1 of the breakfasts, however they didn't see to that & when it came to delivery, the driver was suggesting that we had entered our address wrong - however we ordered via the app which has our information stored & we haven't had any problems with any other companies...

Roast was delicious! Slightly on cold side but as it’s so cold out, we didn’t mind reheating. Bit more gravy would be nice, lamb was lovely. Thank you :)

Quality of ingredients used are 10/10. I just have two minor problems; you didn’t toast the burger buns?! Like did you forget or is this how you roll?! Also I do think you should add more customisation considering the price you pay! It’s 2021! Hoping next time I order more changes will be made to the service. Overall 9/10 because you didn’t toast my bun haha.

I had the mixed American Platter, it was lovely! I added chips and garlic bread and it was a perfect lunch time snack!

Portion was tiny Burger bun was soggy as if it had been microwaved from frozen Bun was split and crumbly Over £15 for a burger and chips with delivery! Not with the money at all

Pizza was bland and a little dry 6/10 and sweet potato fries were spot on 10/10

I gave the food quality 5/6 stars only because the chips were old and soggy however everything else was amazing especially the wings, tasted fresh and glazed in-house,perfect balance of flavour and spice I will be ordering again just for the wings, also restaurant service lost 2 stars purely because the menu is lacking in information, the burger I orderd said served with onion rings and there were none and does not say fries included but they are, also would have liked the ability to choose the toppings for my burger but the way it is setup you can only order a standardized burger of 2 choices. Thanks guys will order again soon ;)

First time ordering from here, food came very quick and was still hot, really nice food, only thing I will say is that it’s abit over priced, and when you take delivery and service charge into account, you’re paying the best part of £20 and that’s just for one beef roast dinner. But again, was very enjoyable.

Second order from the waterfront and once again was really really good. Last time I mentioned that the comments I added to the receipt wasn’t read but this time everything I ask for was done! The burger was so good! I literally didn’t put it down once and finished before even eating anything else. The fries were cooked to perfection in my opinion and was a big potion easily bigger than a large macdonalds fries. I’m not sure if the garlic bread is pre made or home made , but they were really tasty too and liked the char marks on them. I haven’t tried the Bakewell tart but it does look lush! and was given 2 slices instead of one! though I must admit it looks different from before but not a bad thing at all. There was a few other things different from my last order. Previously I received some free onion rings with my burger meal but none this time, which isn’t an issue I just thought about it after I finished. The fries last time were big chunky chips , this time the fries were skinny. which once again isn’t a problem and they were cooked to perfection. I must admit also the size of the pot of sauce has halved, so if it stays that size I would say the price might need to be reduced. Lastly the fries and garlic bread were a little cold (the rest was perfect). I do think this may be because the cold bottle of coke and the desert were in the same bag as the hot food also I’m not sure if the food was transported in a thermal bag. I will be back again! Thankyou for some great food!

My last ever take away while living in Dover - now Im so so so upset that i wont be able to order a share platter all for myself (because fxck sharing the goodies) :'( Maybe i should extend my tenancy? just kidding, my partner's already in the van moving everything </3 WHY WHY WHY COULDNT YOU HAVE BLESSED ME 12 MONTHS EARLIER !! :"(

We’ve eaten at the hotel many times and the standard of takeout is exactly the same as if you eat in. Good food, hot when it arrived and good value for money. We’ll order again.

First time ordering from this place. And wow! It was delicious, the sharing platter and spicy potato wedges was yummy. My son LOVED his pizza. Thank you, we will be ordering again.

The food arrived in just under 30mins & was nice and hot. The food comes in biodegradable packaging which is great. The portion sizes are good and stuffed me just the right amount. You get Mayo & ketchup catches free which is nice. The food was really tasty! A PROPER burger , PROPER fries and PROPER onion rings! I havnt had my desert yet but it looks and smells lush! I Really did enjoyed this and would defo order again. Two suggestions I have though are: I did ask for the bacon to be crispy and no tomato is burger which seems to have not be seen. And as your burgers are “proper”, it may be beneficial to add an option for how you want your meat cooked. As the burger was a little too pink for my choosing but I could still eat it. But there may be others who don’t like any pink and won’t enjoy it. Other than that great job!

Ordered in advance for Sunday dinner. Had the beef carvery and ordered sweet potato fries on the side for myself and my daughter. Was absolutely delicious and still hot, will definitely order again. Very impressed. Thank you! :)

Pleasant staff. House white wine very cheap poor quality. A Greek salad..any self respecting Greek would have laughed at the chefs attempt

My burger and chips was very tasty. However, my husband's teriyaki dish wasn't as tasty and was a bit watery. The staff were very attentive, friendly and accomodating.

I had been here a few times the cream tea and afternoon tea was lovely with unlimited tea or coffee of your choice which I Usually had in the bar area but ! The last visit I was told I could only have cream tea or afternoon tea in the restaurant area ! Could not have the 30% off and the latte would have to be paid for as extra ! So decided to pay for the coffee, not have cream tea or afternoon tea but have what was on the menu in the bar, seemed like there was new staff and they wasn’t sure about anything as one said one thing and the other said something else ! Anyway decided on the curry with rice and naan, waited a long time, but in this time there was a Tesco delivery !! I’m 99% sure the curry that was served up was a Tesco ready meal !! Very disappointed and will not be returning.
