Subway in Dover

Was in here on Saturday 19 October 2024 at about 4.30 ish, with my autistic step daughter, and all of the guys working were absolutely brilliant. They answered her many questions ranging from whether or not they get free subway while they are working to what are olives like. I regularly use this branch of subway and having bought the same food as we usually get at a different branch, both myself and my partner agreed that the quality of the food from this branch is much better. Thank you again guys

Well I don't know what the other reviews are about, Leah was bloody lovely! Made sure to say welcome I'll be right with you whilst she served other customers. Was super friendly and chatty. Really makes the atmosphere of the place. Whatever franchisee owns this place, at least get her a treat because you definitely don't do pay rises 🤣

The server was extremely rude and made it very clear he did not want to be there. As seen by the attached photo, the food portions provided by this restaurant is ridiculous. The photo was taken once we’d left the restaurant and went to enjoy our waffle fries…not that there was were many to enjoy (the photo was taken before any fries were eaten). Avoid at all costs, a complete waste of money

Well the woman was serving the man in front of us and then starting saying "he's in the toilet, I'll get to you when I can" then when she was serving us "I think he's just sitting on his phone in there". Then when this other server came back she said that to him in front of a few customers. Then a conversation about faeces began... After this the guy then started mimicking the timer for the oven...every time it went off, one customer looked very mad. Tbf food was fine but it's the managers fault for not being present. This amount of unprofessional behaviour just silly

Don’t know if this has changed hands recently but the service and quality has dropped considerably. Air conditioning no longer being turned on which makes it far too hot to sit in. 2 foreign guys serving today , couldn’t really understand me nor I them. The bread seemed overly dry and hard, baked too long? Made worse by the Drinks machine broken & bottled drinks pretty much out of stock. Only one flavour of crisps on shelf. Think I’ll start going to a different one from now on!

It's probably the dirtiest subway I've ever been in, only stop there if you are dying of hunger or thirst.

I went to subway to try some new stuff which people have been pleasuring themselves about, so thought I’d give it ago! Went for the might footlong cookie, which looked orgasmic! The sandwich and now new cookie artist whacks out her 12 INCH into the oven, then shortly after served me my Cookie. Get to the van to find out it’s only 10 INCHES! Either she’s cooked it too much or had a slice herself. Overall absolutely bang tidy but needed the extra 2 INCHES to finish the job off

Don't order from them !! Took over 2 hrs to deliver. Not the first time we have had a problem . Won't bother again !

Food was ok but the staff were very rude and lacking in general social skills. Ordered a kids meal and repeatedly asked for the sides that are included, the member of staff just said they didn’t have anything and didn’t help at all. All of this was after paying for the food, we only realised half was missing when checking the food on the way out. When going back they just told us that the digital screen advertising the meal deal was wrong and they didn’t have the bits. Not so much a problem that they didn’t have the bits in but they should have mentioned it when ordering. Overall very badly presented staff not in uniform and it seemed like everything we asked for was a chore/ problem. Staff training seems like it’s very much needed for dealing with customers.

Ordered a 6” sub then was given a foot long. Not interested in changing it so felt obligated to have it. Then wouldn’t allow salad in it as it was a special! To top it all on unwrapping it it wasn’t cut in half. Also ordered a salad bowl - no offer to heat the bacon & chicken & when paying was told they had no knifes & forks & was given a wooden spoon instead! Couldn’t eat it had to save it for later. If I’d known this at the ordering stage I would have chosen something else! Won’t be using this subway again - it used to be really good here but has obviously changed hands again. Absolutely appalling

Menu seems confusing to the staff . Ordered a meal deal but was individually charged for each item. Costing a higher amount . It was alot of effort to get a refund . Shame.

I regularly pop in here to grab a cheeky subway dinner for me and my other half and I have never been disappointed with my order. This evening I was served by Dylan / Dillon, really nice guy and really helpful. He reminded me to use my app as well so I got my points and got 50% off my subway. Had a nice chat will Dylan / Dillon while he was preparing my order and was really pleased with my customer journey from ordering the food to actually eating it.

Staff always happy and make there food perfectly how I like it. Plenty parking space ..plenty space to sit and eat

Placed an order through UberEats. 1 minute later the order gets cancelled. The reason that was given was apparently I phoned them up and cancelled the order myself. LIES!! I assumed this may have been a mistake so I reordered and the same thing happens. The app shows that I have been charged both times as apparently they had already started on the order. Considering they cancelled within 1 minute I very much doubt that! Absolute liars and they couldn’t even be bothered to ring me to explain why they cancelled my order. Just took my money and left me hungry😅😂 luckily got my money back through Ubers and ordered from somewhere else but definitely won’t be ordering from here again!

Dirty, lack of produce, untrained staff and terrible facilities. 3 staff in an empty restaurant, food on the floor and tables. Half the salad was empty and 2 bottle of drink in 2 fridges. Very messy work surfaces and food safety standards must not apply here. Will not dine here again and if you order online I would avoid at all costs!!! Especially if it was the same team in today.

DO NOT order from them on Just Eat. Ordered food which was never delivered ( even though they marked it as delivered) trying to get refund off of Just Eat. And they would not answer their phone,tried 40 times and they will not pick up. Terrible service

The little woman thinks she owns the food,never been to a subway and told i cant have what salad i want and i cant have sauce either.seems too power hungry she does

Just arrived - the man behind the counter was a right state with all stuff in his beard. Looked really unclean. Then he refused to serve me because he was stocktaking.

Shocking service, had hardly any food and was dirty. Was charged an extra sandwich and when I asked for a refund the lady behind the till told the man they couldn’t do the refund which he then said they have to give me one. She told me I would have to wait a week to get the refund by card so she gave me cash instead which was in all in 50p. Wouldn’t recommend

The man i was served by looked high and smelt of weed. Our cookies were soggy, one of my fiances meatballs were frozen, the packaging reeked of weed and made our meal unenjoyable and sick from the smell, and the paper was cut with the bread so we could taste a little paper in the middle of our sub's. Usually we get food from here and its alright but this high employee clearly doesn't care about his job enough to not smoke weed before serving customers.

Subway Do everyone a favour and delete Just Eats from your website because it’s obvious you don’t use the app. You have no drivers so why keep it around, you guys are just sitting there accepting orders and then cancelling them but still offering delivery.Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Usually like subway but very poor service here. Ordered nachos, unasked was given sharing size so could not use subway points to pay for them as intended. Poor service and underhanded upselling probably because so quiet. To add insult to injury the nachos were not even hot and cheese unmelted!

This looks like a business ready to close. Unbelievably filthy floor with food all over it. Rap music coming from the back room with explicit lyrics blaring over the counter. The two guys at the counter couldn't have cared less. Certain items not available. Shocking, and quite sad. Won't be back

Couldn't say too much and be nice. Slow attendance. Card machines don't work and have bad hygienic. No one cleaned the tables. My boyfriend said the toilets were disgusting very, very disgusting, so he suggested to me to use the bathroom in the service area . Imagine how messy was that situation.

If i could give this subway a 0 star i would. Firstly was cash only (not the first time i have been and card machine wasnt working) It was filthy food all ober the floor tables were filthy it was so quiet and from what i saw 3 members of staff doing nothing. They had no gluten free bread. And no foot long bread only had 4 6 inchs left this was 2 oclock on a saturday and a subway has no bread. Laughable. Even the meats in the trays just looked filthy cheese all on the sides some meats all mixed up just a mess!

Absolutely shocking service waited to be served at 13:50 along with 5 other people just to be told that they can't serve anyone else until 14:30 because a member of staff just walked out even though they had 2 young girls already. The last time we went it was the manager on his own he managed perfectly well serving everyone. So in the space of that conversation in total they lost 11 paying customers unbelievable

The place was completely empty 6.30 on a sat evening. Stopped on the way back from seeing family as they sell gluten free bread. Car park looked like a dodgy part of London u wouldn't want your kids hanging out in😬 (needs some work). First thing when when we were greeted inside (apart from it was lovely and clean) 'sorry there dining service has now ended'. Not a sole in there, creepy, didn't need to sit down anyway so that's fine. The 2 staff working were excellent and knew exactly the fine details that go into dealing with an allergy customers anti-contamination process. The 1 awful thing that these 2 faced, they were forced to power on through the fact that there was barely enough ingredients to rustle any sort of sandwich together, let alone one with a long name!! Sauce? Yeah, you'd be lucky. Such a shame, a large outlet in a great location with staff that actually like their jobs. Common Subway pull your finger out

Spotless inside. Food very good as always. It was slightly more expensive than I expected, but free drink refills was a bonus.

The last two times i have visited, it took way too long to get my food, both times, because of new trainees. I get that people need training if they are new, but they need more support from refular staff.

Now convinced, I don't like Subway. Walked out.

Really SLOW service and toilets out of order. Could do with a deep clean!

This has to have been the worst visit to Subway I've ever experienced. We were in a small queue of around 5 in front. It took at least 20 minutes to be served, as staff were just chatting to each other, or friends in queue. This was around 1pm. A member of staff was putting fresh food refills on top of old, including salads and meat. As we got served, one staff member told the first server making the food to go for a cigarette. By this time the queue had trippled. He had the sense to say "no, I'll get the queue down first". One member of staff stood around, whilst the others served. The place was disgusting. The tables hadn't been cleaned, nor had the toilets. No wonder I say 3 couples walk out without purchasing anything. There was no excuse, as they weren't even taking on any orders from external food apps.

Great Subway, easy eat in and take away, good food that's worth purchasing.

Always nice always friendly staff

The young lad that served us was quite rude when we asked for wedges and nacho chicken bites. Staff should ask if we want anything else WHILST the subs are toasting, rather than grilling us about what to do next time we come in.

Had a hot chocolate there. It was very nice.

Always good. Sometimes have to queue a short while (think they could use some more staff!) but otherwise, never had a bad meal here. Food is always good and fresh. Plenty of free parking at the rear.

I'm gonna be honest... subway is probably the best fast food restaurant out there. So much selection of different breads, meats, vegetables and sauces as well as they always have cookie deals Also, loads of seats to eat inside
