The best restaurants in Town and Pier Dover South East

Located near the seafront & town centre this is an excellent clean & friendly Community Cafe offering good food at good prices with free internet access.

This a proper little Gem of a place the food is absolutely unreal I'd 100000% recommend visiting here for food all plant based and vegan, we went twice in our week break away, the staff( family run) were amazing and they will definitely see us back there in the future even though it's an hour away i could spend a fortune here thank you guys the pek bad boy was banging as was the vacon deluxe keep up the good work 😀 😊

We went there at close and were helped with a smile, great conversation, and amazing food. A must see and eat at Dover! 100% recommend the Melk Tart and Biltong!!

We've been coming here for years. All the food is very well presented & good quality too. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful, really well cooked to exactly what we request. Rest of the food is great too but breakfast is our thing! The smoothies are the best I've had locally. Staff are all really friendly, it's very clean with a surprisingly interesting view considering the road it's on. There are outside tables so you can sit in the sun.

I took my 90 year old mum in law to the bradeil retail outlet were the broadwalk cafe is situated. Unfortunately when accessing the retail outlet. Mum caught her foot in a loose anti slip strip on the disabled access ramp. This raised the loose board also tripping up myself. We were both on the floor. Staff and the manager got us up and the manager took us to have a seat in the boardwalk cafe. The owners gave us both a hot sweet tea. And as we had bruising they gave us ice packs in tea towels. A great gesture. After we had sat for about 40 mins we looked at there comprehensive menu and were surprised at the choice and value for money of the prices. In the end we plumped for the homemade Victoria sponge. It was very nice a decent sized slice at a good price. The boardwalk is a franchise within the bradeil wharf retail. And they went out of there way to help us so we will definately be back.

Firstly they don't take cash, at that point I should have walked out. Had to wait over 10 minutes for an espresso even though more people came in after me they still managed to get their drinks first. No eye contact poor customer service.

It's old fashioned pub. Very cool. I like so much. Perfectly served Guinness. And it's not expensive! Amazing atmosphere with billiard table.

I was super excited to try this, with it being so expensive we brought this as a treat tonight. The first issue was the delay with delivery. Our time just kept going up. Secondly, when our food arrived it was cold which is such a shame as we don’t live far from the restaurant! The food itself was nice, the gnocchi had the most delicious sauce and the seafood tasted very fresh. The carbonara wasn’t my favourite which is a shame as this was my main meal. Overall it was ok but shame about the heat.

I don't normally write long reviews but I just spent a night at the Dover Marina hotel and can honestly say it was a great experience. The location and view of the Marina, Port and Dover cliffs was brilliant, rooms were classy and felt very high end, food and drinks menu at the bar was probably the best variety of fusions I have seen. Spa facilities and professionalism really on point. However the biggest draw was the staff friendliness and attitude to making sure we were comfortable and having every thing we needed. We came for a birthday occasion but I would definitely be going back for a short break away or would definitely consider for any future functions. Thank you to all the staff for making our one night really memorable. To many staff to name but I would give you more than 5 stars if I could for the exceptional service.

Delicious food and charming service. A wonderful place.

Let me preface this by saying I’m not a chef, a restauranteur or anyone of any sway in the hospitality sector. However I am a passionate amateur foodie and so, I feel, an average member of the public From the start, I wasn’t acknowledged at the front desk. ( either short staff or budgets allowing for the vacancy) once someone saw me I was put at a window seat. It’s worth noting now that the air con temperature was way too low. Very cold. Once sat. I wasn’t given water or a drinks menu. This should be addressed. I saw this was a Marco Pierre White restaurant and so went for the Sunday roast which promised a lot in its description. However, on receipt of it I was very disappointed. The Yorkshire pudding, pig in blanket and stuffing were all clearly frozen packaged and warmed up. The beef was edible although slightly overcooked and not pink (I understand this is personal preference though. Gravy came with the skin on it and the potatoes were almost whole and boiled (please can we all do better with our roast potatoes Britain) Veg was a let down. Reheated and under seasoned. Gravy although told it was made in house. Had no flavour to it. The manager was wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make sure I had a good meal. I had cheese to finish and there were no description of what cheese was what and there needs to be something like celery or grapes to balance the flavours.

Food delivered hot tasty would definitely recommend them
