Great little place with some really tasty food. We visited mid week so it was a little quieter. Can't wait to visit again. Super friendly people.

Superb, cheerful service, delicious (gluten free) homemade cake and coffee/tea at an astoundingly reasonable price. I highly recommend. Food is all cooked on the premises and served in light, airy, welcoming, clean café. Hidden gem.

We've been eating burgers from these guys since 2012 and have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and hot with great attention to detail in all the ingredients especially as its all locally sourced. My personal favourites are the witches fingers and the eponymous tijuana Burger plus the habanero sauce is a must try if you love a bit of heat in your grub !.. looking forward to getting back ASAP!

Fabulous little boutique style coffee shop. A great service pre travel but lovely little bites to eat, great coffee etc. Staff always super quick and friendly

The friendly waitress helped us decide on our choices for dinner. Ribs as a starter were beautiful with a nice kick. Both the chicken and coconut curry, and the jerk pork were both packed with flavour. Generous portions unfortunately meant there was no room for the homemade chocolate brownie. We will make sure we have enough room next time! Definitely a recommendation from us and good value too. Look forward to our next visit

We’ve not been for ages but after last night’s dinner we’ll definitely be back. The dining areas are really classy, welcoming and clean which makes a big difference. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Couldn’t do more the help. The food was sensational as usual. The menu is fairly small which we feel shows the food is fresh and they’d rather do a small number of dishes really well. We think it’s still the best restaurant in Deal and definitely won’t make it so long before we go again.

Amazing 🤩. The food, the team that never stood still and the cakes 🍰. Wonderful to see proper china cups , plates and tea leaf tea. They haven’t gone silly with an overly extensive menu that they can’t facilitate. The food was fresh, well presented and superb. We wouldn’t hesitate to go again. You won’t be disappointed, it’s a hidden diamond. The cake was worth the wait.

Good venue, service is nice, the staff are lovely and the live music can be awesome. But please, please, PLEASE give the staff training in how to make cocktails. Their Bloody Mary and Long Islands are the worst I've ever tasted. Every sip was a struggle. Even 'Spoons does better cocktails. It's a sad day when 'Spoons does better cocktails. I don't take any pleasure in being so negative, but the cocktails are just bad. If you can improve your cocktails, you'll be one of the best bars in Deal.

Excellent dining establishment in popular seaside town. Family run, not a chain. Membership required. Menus are themed and change weekly! Excellent creative food choice. Cosy atmosphere , tables of 2 - 8. Very reasonable prices. BYO drinks must book in advance.

Nice atmosphere, the kitchen was unfortunately closed which is unfortunate considering the upcoming closure.

Formerly Der Bar (the Bear) now simply the Bar. Local Beers, Wines and Ciders. Dog friendly, no food apart from Crisps and nibbles. Jazz evening on last Monday of every month. Great atmosphere 5*

Their cream cake is absolutely divine – light, creamy, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.
