Great local pub that does take away drinks for the beach !! Which is such a plus to get a fresh pint of Madri to drink by the sea. Staff are so friendly to help you out as well.

First time going to this pub and was felt welcomed upon arrival one of the only pubs in deal with a pool table, massive garden and Carrie and Dan was very welcoming 5 star

I'd never been in before. What a lovely pub. We had a nice couple of drinks. Bar staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Friendly landlady lovely garden, however a customer telling how she had cooked a quiche and it had given her partner wind my language is polite here and then two customers having a row interspersed with swearing is not a great way to spend time in what could be a nice little pub. At that point we left. The landlady needs to remind customers that some behaviour is not acceptable. May be she is happy to keep that clientele if they are regulars and bring in the money

Great friendly pub with a nice garden and couple of tables out front with a sea view. Well kept beer. The locals made us feel very welcome and were very kind to our unpredictable Jack Russell!

Lovely rear garden, friendly atmosphere.

By looking at the outside you think it was not the nicest of Pubs and looked very small, my friend & I had walked from Sandwich on a very hot day (it was meant to rain) so at the end of our 3 hour walk this was the first place we came to and needed a drink, what a lovely surprise on entering, big and cool and clean, lady behind the bar (not landlady) was very welcoming and friendly and they have a lovely garden out the back. A hidden gem.

Intimidating punters and landlady sits down uninvited at your table - we only wanted a quiet drink.

Nice & cosy. Beer good price.shame no food on. If you like s quiet relaxing pub away from crowds. This is the place to go. Don't tell to many people 😀

Wonderful bar staff and delightful clientel a place to feel at home and just relax so just go there not many of these places left now .

Very welcoming lovely landlady home from home down to earth

A proper pub where you always get a smile from friendly locals and from its marvelous owner Margaret. Great view of the choppy sea from beside the wood burner in the winter and just a stroll across from the beach for a refreshing pint in the summer. Lovely, well kept garden too. Always welcoming.

Proper English locals pub . Totally brilliant landlady . I asked her to marry me, but she turned me down . shows you how sensible she is ! Really lovely place that is unchanged and authentic .

The Foresters is such a friendly warming place to enjoy a glass or two. Great landlady such a warm welcome awaits when you go throu the door.
