Came for a swift pint. I wish I had time for a few more. Staff have always been nice and the other punters are always friendly and chatty, so you never feel that you ate alone. Be back soon!

First time visit here. Liked the place. Friendly staff, excellent choice of drinks. Great atmosphere, with everyone in good spirits. Had a couple of pre dinner drinks here. I was very impressed with the place.

First visit just before Christmas. What a lovely place. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Great choice of drinks. Friendly staff and fellow drinkers. Will definitely be back next time we visit Deal.

Deal is the best for bars and restaurants.

So so disappointed. Staff need proper training food is only just passable. Hate ordering at bar and waited sometime arriving. We did wait till kids back at school to avoid any rush but we wont be rushing to return sorry bit of a fail

Never disappoints and a great view of sunset over the houses if you get there in time and bag a window seat.

Seeing as this is my friend's bar I'm always going to look favourably on it, however what I say is an honest reflection on the establishment. Nice modern welcoming place but not a generic sterile environment like in some modern places. Decent selection of beers and ciders on tap from the Kent area and a good selection of wines and spirits too. There's an upstairs lounge with a cozy seating area tucked away around a corner which is nice for a small group to sit and chat. The rest of the upstairs is spacious enough to not feel cramped. Then there is a downstairs lounge with curved brickwork and arches. It feels really old and historical, but comfortable at the same time. The upstairs in the front window seating is a great place to sit and have a pint while watching the world go by outside on a weekend. The Bar is located towards the North End of the High Street is what's become the trendy end of town. Well worth a visit for a pint or ten.

Lovely little place any time of year

Such a cozy place where you can spend hours enjoying drinks and the nice music and atmosphere. We (and our 4 dogs) were warmly welcomed and sat in the comfy seats in the back corner playing card games and just having the best time. Highly recommend :)

Had a nice visit, very safe way to operate this bar. Has a good selection of local brewed beers and ciders. Also has all the other popular drinks including wines. A very modern type of bar but with familiar surroundings, a popular venue for all ages.

Lovely wine and quirky space to drink it. You'd think you were in France. Marina provides great service.

I had a fantastic time at The Bar this evening. Everyone was so welcoming and I felt so safe and comfortable here. It’s very cosy and beautiful. It’s also got wallpaper from the 30s so it feels like a vintage bar. It’s got an upstairs and a downstairs and a fantastic selection of drinks. I can’t wait to go back!

I like this place, a relaxed atmosphere with good interaction from staff. Good range of beers and spirits and we had a good bottle of wine.

I found it a very nice place, the beer was absolutely excellent. It's a shame it doesn't open till 4 o clock in the week and 2 o clock at the weekend.

Great place to relax and have a beer with friends

Good range of keg beauties here. Nice decor, atmosphere buzzing (Fri eve). Staff knowledgeable and attentive. Had a Beavertown Neck Oil, but there were kentish breweries here such as Iron Pier and the local Kentish Pip cider. Second visit here and plan to return again very soon. Highly recommend.

Honesty!! This place is a little gem of deal. Not being horrible but the less people know of it the better. I think they get enough trade with the true deal delights that go there. A big 9 out of ten

Lovely laid out bar, serving nice ales and larger. Good atmosphere in a homely environment. Bavo is a lovely drop and very reasonably priced.

Having visited a few times I've always enjoyed it, great beer with a nice environment and friendly staff! Sit downstairs to hide yourself away or sit upstairs to watch the world go by, a real gem of a place.

Well kept Ale and not expensive. They welcome dogs. Only gripe is that lack of soft furnishings and carpets make it very noisy with a crowd. Not a place for a quiet chat.
