Nice quiet lil place hot dog was yummy doggo enjoyed a piece of the sausage too, I especially like the upside down M symbols enjoyed it here glad we came round 👍👍👍👍

Great pizza and extremely nice people behind the counter Music is a bit too loud and wasn't quite to our taste. Nevertheless, absolute recommendation!

Lovely craft beer pub/bar right in the middle of Deal. Thean behind the bar was really friendly and made some good recommendations. Plenty of seating inside and out, and dog friendly too!

Most friendly bar staff you’ll ever come across and the food is delectable not only was it the best pizza I’ve ever had it’s the best food I’ve ever had I can’t recommend it enough truly a gem.

Came from Ashford for a day out and very surprised about everything. Amazing Baba Ganoush and a really good Snitzel sandwich. Give it a try!

A really nice bar that is eclectically decorated and concentrates on craft ale, pizza and music. Both the ale and the pizza were excellent (the pizzas are named after now defunct pubs of Deal). There is also a large selection of low alcohol or non alcoholic beers, so no excuse not to make the journey.

Went for a 🍕 but extremely impressed with everything. Service was great. Pizza was first class and they have some unusual beers. Good place to go for a night out.

Great atmosphere in this place, really lovely and friendly bar staff. Very busy even spring the week, seems like the place to go in Deal. Good selection of drinks, there were quite a few of us and there wasn't one drink they couldn't accommodate. Every laughing and chatting away, just an overall great bar.

Excellent selection of craft ales and cider. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. We didn't get to eat there but smelled and saw the food - it looked fab and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. Will definitely be returning.

I love these types of places where there's loads of beers on and the American style taps! Good for food and the staff are really lovely! Great location and currently Oktoberfest is on...... So lots of extra goodies on sale! Charis and Jo in the few times I've been going here have made me feel so welcome and really know their stuff!!

Wow what a great place nice and busy food was great awesome 🍕 pizza. Booked a table for 4 of us couldn't have been made more welcome great selection of beers great music, bit of vinyl going the decks. And lady that served us was helpful and knowledgeable about our food selection we will be back.

I really enjoyed the service and vibe that this establishment offers. I only have one criticism: sort out the front entrance, we nearly didn't go in. Polish the chrome and paint the putside, you'll get even more customers!

A great selection of craft beers, always fresh. Pizzas are outstanding! Service always first class and very friendly.

Comfortable friendly bar. Extensive range of keg beers. Unfortunately only one cask on, which was lovely and well kept. Given the limited and mainstream cask beers locally, would be nice to see two on. Cask drinkers do unfortunately seem to be getting marginalised at this type of venue. That aside, the beers were great. Prices a little steep but seems to be the way now. Hope they drop back when things improve financially. Recommended though.

Best boozer in the area and it's not even close. If you like a lovely drop for a great price, then don't go anywhere else but here. So many different beers on tap, as well as a fridge full to choose from too (including some top quality non alcoholic beers). If you're looking to eat, they also do pizzas that are the best in the area. If you want the best beer at the best price, go to the Taphouse.

I visited this place yesterday with my family (who are mid 20's along with my grandchildren), we were served and looked out for by a well mannered and approachable (named Dalton I believe), as well as a friendly and rather busy cook (sorry I do not recall her name). Throughout our visit we enjoyed the easy going and friendly environment as well as the marvellous food and service.... In short, thankyou....

Great vibe , really buzzing . Definitely pre book a table , otherwise no chance of sampling their pizzas & vast range of craft beers (me wine )! This is one of our favourite places to have a drink & great music to boot ... & we is old!

The pizzas were delicious and the staff were friendly however all wearing jumpers as it was a tad chilly, further the DJ set was not conducive for conversation hence 4 stars!

Should you try to find a flaw here, will be a waste of time. Accomplished beer selection (and very much cared for all other drinks). Pizza? Very very impressed. According to the Facebook page it closes at 22.00. Tried getting a drink on Wednesday night arriving at 9.40 to be told we are closed, despite at least a dozen people in Usually a welcoming place, but we won’t bother to return.

Whenever we visit Deal, this is the place we come from a drink and food. The pizzas are amazing! - In particular the meat puppets with some chilli sauce! - yum! Great choice of beers and gins. All the staff are incredibly welcoming. It’s just behind the seafront and near the high street; slightly off the beaten track but well worth visiting - you won’t be disappointed :)

Located in South Street in Deal, the Taphouse is a spacious micropub with an extensive beer and cider list. Friendly staff keep the place immaculately clean and have a good knowledge of their product. This would have been 5 stars had they had any bitters as part of their line-up. It's a shame because East Kent is the spiritual home of bitters. Mind you, the Taphouse pilsener was awesome!

It’s a 5/5 every time. The friendliest, most knowledgeable team. The pizza is exceptional and the beers brilliant, even the non alcoholic beers. Did I mention the pizza?! Great atmosphere and vibes and the best pizza outside of NYC. If you don’t come here whilst you’re in Deal you have truly missed out

This is an excellent place with good music and great pizzas and loads and loads of beer. The only downside is the wine which is limited and dull but then I guess being called the Tap House is what they excel at.

Visited here first time as recommended by some friends on saturday, service was fantastic, very knowledgeable about the beers they sell and they were really friendly with our kids and dog. Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend

After a weekend of very poor 'Big Brewery' Ales, the Taphouse was an oasis of quality craft ale. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and a great laugh. I found my 'Happy Place' in Deal.

It’s a real shame loved this place but has got greedy with prices a gin and tonic and a beer is now over 12 pound plus service charge 😩central london prices , it’s not on the seafront it overlooks a bus rank and taxi rank so why so expensive I’ve used it rrgulary for .5 years but will be going elsewhere sorry two houses but get real
