La Friends Pizzeria in Dover

My partner and i decided to choose this restaurant as our usual one was closed. The food was good value for money at buy one get one free. However i ordered a deep pain and got a thin crust. I also ordered a veggie pizza and a piece of pepporani was in the box (luckily not on the pizza). The pizza was sliced inconsistently as well. Overall it was a okay pizza but will not choose them again or recommend to use.

All the food was lovely and hot,delivered early too! Only down side,there was no chips with the kebab again,didn’t get the free bottle of coke again and didn’t get the cheesy garlic bread that I ordered?????

Food was ok, although the lasagne was horrendous! Fast delivery though.

Delicious pizzas. Very generous with toppings, sauce, etc. Splendid. Huge kebabs Decent Price. On time. Friendly Driver. 10/10.

Not too fussed that it was late as the staff were very apologetic when I called, but the pizza arrived in a boot of a car filled with people and was burnt to a crisp. Spent nearly £20 on pizza and went straight in the bin! looked like the wedges had been cooked 5 times but somehow managed to be soggy, and the pizza was burnt and cold. So disappointed, should have listened to the other reviews! I know they were really busy but how can you send out food that badly cooked and think it was okay! Wouldn't even feed it to my dog!

Ordered at 6pm and arrived at 19.40pm!! The driver blamed the restaurant workers and vice Verca

Sent the wrong pizza, then tried to argue that I had ordered pepperoni on one of the pizzas. (I did on the calzone). The person has seemingly reluctantly sent another pizza which did arrive - 35 minutes later.

Late, no gesture of apology and rubbery pizza, first and last time we use them

they are a great place where all their food is brilliant shame about the one delivery driver but that got sorted straight away by the brilliant team and we will continue to use them brilliant well done guys

One of the two pizzas was burnt so wasn't happy but the other pizza was perfect.

I was annoyed that I had received a message to say the food was on its way only to then get a phone call from the takeaway saying that it was unfair of me to expect them to only receive £2 delivery charge when the driver wanted £5 so could I give the driver the extra £3 when he turned up!!!

Im so disgusted with la friends delievery driver he screamed at my wife and made her very upset wen she told him 2 calm down he raised his voice again didn apologise even thou he cud see her up set lucky i dont phone the police

delivery ordered to wrong house, but only had this mistake once, usually great service and food was still cooked well as well as hot! nothing bad to say about it, everyone makes mistakes and I've only had this one mistake in over a year or ordering. still very happy and would recommend

Both kebabs were delicious, full of meat and salad. Extra sauce as requested, so no complaints.

I found shards of plastic in one of the slices of pizza. Causing me to choke. I had confidence and hope in this place but I found sharp plastic and a burnt top! Not the first time quality hasn't been up to scratch and I don't doubt for one second that it won't happen again! Definitely won't be ordering from here again!

We didn't receive restaurant service as we had it delivered. Food was pretty good but the jalapeño cheese sticks were FANTASTIC. The delivery time was exact.

Good quality as usual. Always a generous serving of meat on their kebabs, which is why I return. Love their garlic sauce too!

Have ordered from here around 4 times The food was good although they did get my order wrong twice Handy for me as close by, but to be honest I prefer Pizza Pronto - just around the corner

Delivery was stated as free but driver wanted £2.50 delivery fee ! Said to take it up with boss. didn't pay him!!!!

The owner himself came out to our house today to sort the issue with our problems from the night before, which was resolved very quickly with apologies. We ordered again this evening and everything was great. Food piping hot, fresh and good quality, great delivery service. Thank you.

Delivery driver was really rude! We were given wrong items, and when phoning to ask for the correct items we was told 'What do you want me to do about it?' We was refused our money back for the wrong items! And was told to have the correct items the next day?! The items we did get they didn't bother reading our polite requests in the comment box. Over all it was just a really rubbish experience and a real shame as we've always spent quite a lot of money with la friends in the past! But now you've lost our custom for the future, no need for such rudeness and poor customer service! :(

The delivery was 24 minutes late. When it arrived, the driver demanded for a fiver for delivery charge when there isn't a charge for it. Very rude, be weary.

Las pizzas estaban absolutamente repugnante, era frío, olía raro y la salsa de ajo probado. 3 de nosotros estábamos comiendo y ninguno de nosotros terminado nos sentimos enfermos. Cuando la orden llegó finalmente, el conductor exigió que pagamos un cargo de entrega de cinco libras. Cuando le informaron que efectuarán la entrega en el sitio web o en comer solo y que no tenía un fiver en mí, me preguntó cuánto me tenían, y me dijeron nada. Se encogió de hombros y no le importara! Fue muy grosero y no nos impresionó en absoluto! Nunca pide aquí y no se lo recomendaría a todos!

Delivery was 20 or so minutes ahead of schedule. However the food in general was only warm (just about) and had thus to be heated in the microwave. I understand Saturdays can be busy but I am a firm believer in qaulity rather than speed.

Good value for money with buy one get one free on pizzas. Lovely food as always

No mention of delivery charge until the food arrived. I was told by the driver that the restaurant should have called to tell me but they did not. I was not happy with this and refused to pay the charge.

Food was delivered 30 minutes after the time stated and an hour from the time I got a text to say it was on its way. Delivered me a completely different item to what I ordered for sides and ignored the note left about taking the jalapeño off the pizza. Really disappointed.

Took 2 and a half hours to arrive when I phoned twice they said it was on its way when all along it wasn't.

We ordered and it stated free delivery. When our order turned up the delivery driver said we owed him £5 as the delivery was over a certain distance. This is stated nowhere on their website.

Pedimos desde aquí un par de veces, pero ahora han detenido porque dos veces en una fila tenían nuestra orden completamente equivocados, las pizzas estaban asquerosas y fueron completamente maltratada de lo que en la mayoría de 5 minutos en coche.

Food was very tasty, delivered on time and hot.

I regularly order a hot shot calzone. My last order a couple weeks ago the calzone was not nice but having been a customer for many years I said nothing. Last night I ordered again and the calzone was not good for the same reason. Very little peperioni. I opened the calzone and found three slices. So essentilally a vegetarian pizza. Guys you have just kost a regular, scrimping on ingredients.

Great value, quick delivery and piping hot!

Delivery was due at 19:05 and turned up half hour late following a call to chase. It arrived Luke warm and the driver didn't provide any reason as to why it was late apart from being busy. I called the manager who told me if I pay in full I can have a discount next time. No chance would I waste my money on Luke warm 2nd rate pizza.

Food was okay, not the best, the salad with the kebab was only lettuce and onion. Pizza was nice though. Delivery took an hour and 20 minutes.
