Two of us went for a late mid week lunch and had an enjoyable meal. I had the roast veg and brie panini which was very tasty and came with a nice side salad. My husband had the Cajun chicken which came with cauliflower gratin and potatoes. The staff were lovely.

Popped in today and was not disappointed! Lovely server at the till and the bubble teas were delicious! Good prices and cute little shop with lots of gifts to purchase! Would definitely recommend, and a wide menu choice! 😊

Absolutely Amazing, we Felt So Welcome From the moment we arrived at The Elephant and Hind, the staff made us feel completely at home. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and a special shoutout to Raychel, her personality & service is absolutely out of this world!! Even while she was busy collecting glasses and helping others, she always made time to check on us and ensure we had everything we needed. the service truly made the experience stand out. It's rare to feel this looked after when dining out. We'll definitely be back, not just for the great food, but for the amazing hospitality too. Highly recommend!

We have been wanting to come here for a while. Left feeling underwhelmed after reading great reviews. The jerk chicken wrap was lovely. Curried goat had nice flavour but wasn’t really a curry, looked like it had been under the heat lamp for a while. Mac n cheese was just pasta and sauce. Lovely rum.

If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food and the friendliest staff, Chaplins is a must-visit. The service is always warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is delicious, with a variety of options that never disappoint, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or spending time with friends, this café delivers an excellent experience every time. Highly recommend

This is a very nice cafe/coffee shop in the centre of Dover, just opposite St Mary's Church and about a 5 minute walk or less to the seafront. I was there on a Friday at about 10.30am and it was very busy. It's pretty much in 3 parts - the main area as you come in, a small seating area further inside (there is a downstairs but it wasn't open) and a little garden area. The toilets were very clean. The place itself was very warm and cosy. There's wifi available. But most importantly the coffee was very good, not expensive at all and I even got a little biscuit for dunking :). I was surprised at how busy it was initially but after half an hour I realised that there is actually a very nice atmosphere throughout. I didn't eat - many others were - but I would definitely recommend a coffee and a sit down here.
