The best restaurants in Town Dartford South East

My family and I really liked this restaurant a lot. The food is super good and fresh; the portions are generous. Their lamb and chicken are really excellent! The staff is super nice and very attentive. Their bread is extra good. Also, we ordered the dessert (can't remember the name of it) and it was to kill for;) if you are nearby - visit the place- you will not be disappointed!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with The Vic and Bull. We stayed in an ensuite room and it was perfect. It’s an historic building so there are creaks and wear and tear. All part of the charm. Our room was big, very clean and stocked well with towels. There was a coffee and tea station and toiletries if you need them( shower gel and shampoo). Our room was made up every day. The staff were warm and friendly. And the bar was great to sit in and enjoy a drink or three. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station. Five minutes to shops including Sainsburys. There are markets right out front every Thursday and Saturday. Definitely recommend and would stay again 😊

I think the owner has become a bit too ‘cash greedy’ and is prioritising this over quality and quantity of food. This comes across in all aspects of the restaurant experience here - from the very basic, canteen feel of the place, to the largely unwarranted service charge and even to the very casual appearance of management and waiting staff (if you wear jeans and trainers to serve that’s fine but surely your prices should be more reflective of this if you are wanting an informal vibe)? Also the dish sizes were the same when we came here as a couple and another time as a party of 8! Don’t mind paying more but at least expect larger sizes! Shame as been a frequent customer for years.

Had medium rare lamb shish this evening wow must of been must of been mistaken for a large mutton shish, Totally m the meal

We ordered an Uber eats which included a12 inch subway meal deal and a salad. I had no complaints about the salad but the subway roll wasn’t in the bag. The lady tried to say she 100% put the roll in the bag and the driver must have taken it out!! Even though the bag was sealed. She said he should have told me he was hungry and I would have given him a cookie!! Uber eats will only refund me £1.10 for the 12 inch roll. I am disgusted with Uber eats attitude and also the blatant lies from the so called manageress!!

We pre-ordered the food before the restaurant opened around 16:30. They gave us an ETA of 18:10 and it didn’t arrive until well after 19:30. Really disappointing because the food is great.

The sides were equally impressive. The peri peri fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the coleslaw provided a refreshing contrast to the spicy main dishes. I also tried their grilled halloumi, which was a delicious surprise and a must-try for cheese lovers. Overall, Lowfield Grill exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're a peri peri aficionado or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!

We went here for drinks and dinner in the bar. It was a lovely environment. We wanted to look around the spa to decide about a future spa day. The staff were super accommodating and helpful, the facilities looking good. Shout out to Jack who was really conscientious behind the bar, making drinks for big orders and especially making cocktails to a high spec.

Great Eggs Benedict and lovely tea and cake. I had Key Lime Pie, which was delicious. Comfortable seating and friendly staff.
