The best restaurants in Chiltern South East

We purchased a travelzoo voucher as we've never been to the restaurant before and wanted to try the food. Really pleased we did, the restaurant is lovely and we couldn't fault the food and service. Looking forward to returning soon.

Amazing lunch ! We tried 8 of the small plates and ever one of them was delicious, perfectly executed and presented beautifully. The dessert was equally as good, doughnuts light and full of flavour. Just brilliant 🤩 Service and wines also exceptional - highly recommend this little bistro.

Amazing place, very friendly staff, food is good for money. But the cakes, no words ( Pistachio cake is amazing and Gines so delicious)

Nowhere better in Amersham, or Bucks! And now peanut butter is on the menu, it’s complete. Best pastries, best bread, best coffee, friendliest service and advice….and best music (although Mondays, Christy plays a dodgy playlist). A wonderful place to eat and drink.

Three brilliant live acts! This is a fantastic venue. You are so close to the musicians, you can actually chat to them. Its totally relaxed but at the same time highly professional. Excellent food as well. Why pay London prices when you've something as amazing as this on your doorstep

Small and personal space to sit and enjoy great food and drink. Served with a smile the staff were keen to make our short visit the best it could be. Avocado on sourdough with bacon with poached eggs is super tasty. Will go again next time we are in the area.

We are here at least once a week. Food and coffee is great and it has a relaxed and happy vibe. We are made to feel welcome and they are very dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

Wow, what a hidden gem in Amersham! It feels like you're right in central London. The ambience is lovely with soft lighting and background music. The staff are super attentive and polite. Harsh, the owner, was a joy to speak to—you can really tell he's put his heart and soul into the business! Every dish was spot on! I highly recommend the squid, mutton rolls, and cauliflower wings. For mains, the sea bass, chicken, and lamb were all 10/10. The Mango Sorbet is the perfect palette cleanser. And if you're looking for a nightcap, definitely ask for the Sri Lankan whisky! Best of luck with that AA Rosette—you totally deserve it!

Popped in here while waiting for my bike to go through its MOT. I visit a lot of cafes on my bike and this is probably up there with one of the best. Atmosphere is great and the food is absolutely lovely. Coffee is great too, really enjoyed my visit, will be back.

We have been using Pathila since they first opened, it was good then and still good now. The staff are always friendly and polite and that goes a long way in this day and age.

Asked to leave because our dogs were getting a bit excited with other dogs.

Koko’s New Coffee Shop in Beaconsfield is top notch! Great coffee - that’s a given, but the most delicious home made sandwiches & cakes. Absolutely unbeatable in this quaint, friendly little coffee shop - definitely don’t walk past!!!! The Nutella Cheesecake is insanely good!

Lovely lunch...jerk chicken rice .... bbq chicken rice.... very good portion tasty meal.... great coleslaw.... perfectly cooked halloumi.... the staff is great helpful....very good experience

A really lovely café - friendly and interested staff, a calm and relaxing ambience, and the best and most surprising - not to mention healthy - cakes and snacks. The carrot cake muffin was a revelation. 😊

Cafe Toria was a welcome respite after a rather lengthy visit to the nearby Surgery. Limited choice but food is carefully prepared.
