Three brilliant live acts! This is a fantastic venue. You are so close to the musicians, you can actually chat to them. Its totally relaxed but at the same time highly professional. Excellent food as well. Why pay London prices when you've something as amazing as this on your doorstep

We had the most amazing evening last night at the Drawing Rooms. We’re having a weekend away in Chesham and had stumbled upon this place. Didn’t really know what to expect but what a find. You step off the high street to enter what feels like a different world. Greeted by Richard (who is just the nicest guy you could wish to meet) and we could just tell we were in for a special evening. I can honestly say I’ve never experienced a place like it. Great food, brilliant music, a great atmosphere and a whole lot of fun in a chilled out welcoming environment. Just amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back as soon as we can. Thank you Richard!

The Drawing Room is unique. There's nowhere else like it in Chesham or anywhere else round here. An ancient house in a tiny courtyard just off the High Street but a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The owner Richard has invested in awnings and heaters to make sure he can continue to trade safely over the Winter in these grim times. Expect a warm friendly welcome, lovely atmosphere, great coffee, perfect hot choc, yummy cakes and tasty lunches. Peer through the windows at the artwork and sofas for a glimpse of what to look forward to inside after Covid. Why would you go to a homogenous chain when you have the option of an independent special place like this?. This is a great stop for a morning coffee or lunch, but try for a Friday or Saturday night for something extra special - musicians play under the twinkling fairy lights in an intimate magical setting, chiminea crackling, blankets provided. It's a place to leave the worries of the world behind for a few hours, supporting original live music in the process. The acts and atmsophere are brilliant every time. Booking essential so contact the owner before you go - but do go, it's magical.

Stumbled across this place after a long walk from Rickmansworth. What a lovely little spot! Very homely and welcoming. We were given a hot stone each to warm our cold hands and made to feel very at home. We had various delicious mezze dishes and found out that the venue hosts all sorts of live music. This place has a fantastic hippy vibe and the owner / manager was a really warm and friendly guy. We loved it. Would definitely recommend if you want something unique and quirky - it has such a wholesome and genuine vibe. The food was super and just what we needed. I’d definitely go back and only wish I lived closer to catch a live music event!

Booked this restaurant for Valentines Day meal and wasn't disappointed. Tapas style food was excellent and Richard [the owner] was attentive without being 'in your face'. We were treated to a gin of our choice from his large selection and tried a vegan 'chicken' satay skewer which was lovely. This restaurant is not well frequented maybe because downstairs it feels like someone's lounge but this suited us perfectly. We have also eaten upstairs with four others in their Moroccan themed room which was great fun.

Koko’s New Coffee Shop in Beaconsfield is top notch! Great coffee - that’s a given, but the most delicious home made sandwiches & cakes. Absolutely unbeatable in this quaint, friendly little coffee shop - definitely don’t walk past!!!! The Nutella Cheesecake is insanely good!

Consistently our favourite night out anywhere. Drop at No11 is an absolute treat. James who runs the place is a superb host with an encyclopaedic knowledge of wine. The drink itself is first class and is always accompanied by exceptional cheese and wine. We pay this bar a visit every time we can get a babysitter. It’s absolutely our ‘happy place’ Would give more than 5 stars if we could.

I'd found out about this spot driving past and thought hey that looks like a pretty cool place to meet with the lads for a few beers and some food; first time we'd come it was their 5th Anniversary of being open so couldn't get a seat which is fair enough; came in the other day with a few other mates had hot dogs, wings and a few beers and it was about £16 each for wings and a hotdog the taste was amazing but 9 wings dipped in franks hot sauce for £9 is a bit extortionate. The beers on tap were great amazing selection about 10 taps all varied from IPA to Sour and a Lager too, the problem we had was that when we came in we didn't feel welcome at all and when we asked the staff if they're still doing food the lad had a face of constipation as he said 'yeah' and so we sat down ordered our food had a few beers and left. Overall was a nice evening, very nicely decorated and great quality, just the friendliness and prices could use a bit of tweaking as I would come more often if the wings weren't so damn expensive.
