The best restaurants in Wroxton Cherwell South East

We had to wait till the man who cooks dinar to come, as the woman who was there could unfortunately not prepare our coffee and hot chocolate. Inexperienced and staff with bad attitudes killed the day.

Went in on a Thursday evening. Fires roaring, food absolutely sumptuous. Fantastic fresh fish & chips, beautifully made pea puree. I had a cauliflower soup starter that was as good as I've ever tasted. This is cooking from another level, what a find. Go!!!

Excellent food but not quite as hot as the menu suggests.

This pub is wonderful. It is cosy but has a great selection of wines, beers and gins. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is good. On top of all that it is dog friendly. Main reason to return to Shenington! Sets the place apart from other Cotswolds villages.

Warm friendly welcome in this quaint village pub. The Korean chicken was amazing and the mushroom and chickpea stew was very nice too.

A real joy to find Stuart and Carole on my doorstep, atmosphere in the old pub sense, they know their business without losing personal contact, every visit the same without losing a welcoming quality, you've got the right balance in a difficult financial climate, long may it be so!!

Went for Sunday lunch and had a great experience all round. Food was great and value for money, as was the service from the staff. We even got a friendly wave from chef as we left after our meal. Will definitely be going here again.
