My friend came down from Marske by the Sea and we needed somewhere for Sunday lunch. The Bell never disappoints so we booked a table. It's definitely a little gem of a place that you almost don't want to tell anyone about. My friend ordered the mixed roast dinner and I had the vegetarian roast dinner with halloumi. It's not currently on the menu, you just have to ask. They were both delicious with all kinds of different roasted vegetables and a giant Yorkshire! My friend said it was the best roast dinner she had eaten in a long time. We then ordered the lemon, plum pudding with custard which tasted amazing. The staff are all lovely with nothing being too much trouble. Definitely recommend!

This pub is wonderful. It is cosy but has a great selection of wines, beers and gins. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is good. On top of all that it is dog friendly. Main reason to return to Shenington! Sets the place apart from other Cotswolds villages.

Lovely lady behind the bar, chef not too happy we did not book! Able to have a drink outside whilst we ordered and food choices were good, portions large so go hungry. Chicken kebab thoroughly recommend and Pork dish. Good local pub feel and attentive service but a very skilled bar person.

WOW what an outstanding lunch!!!! My wife and I along with our 2 little dogs had just walked 2miles from the nearby Crofts Barn camp site and were met with a very friendly warm welcome. We had booked a table but were aloud to sit anywhere we wanted. The menus had a good choice and we went for Olive and bread to share, steak for my wife and chicken skewer for me, it all was 5* ++ could not fault anything, The chap behind the bar was attentive, friendly and happy to help, the Chef check in to ensure everything was ok. We had 2 pints of Peroni, one large and one std glasses of white wine Total cost £74 Excellent value, quality and service Thank you

WARNING: TEMPORARILY CLOSED. We booked a table for Sunday lunch yesterday but got to the pub to find that it was closed, no lights on, no answer at the door. I checked their Facebook page and it showed that they were closing for maintenance for 2 weeks end of January. I tried to report a change in hours on Google so others don't make the same mistake! Please close your booking system temporarily whilst you're closed!

I was taken to lunch here by my daughter. I can honestly say, I have rarely had such delicious food in a pub. It really was exceptional. We decided to go for several starters as we were finding it hard to make a choice - I had the parsnip soup which quite frankly was the best parsnip soup I have ever had. My daughter had the prawns which were fabulous and we then shared a couple of the dips - babaganoush and muhammara which neither of us had come across before but both just exploded with flavour. We also had the fish terrine. Without doubt a 10/10. Highly recommend.
