Tasty food. Always busy which proves how great the team are here.

Food delicious but the staff were so lovely and helpful as my husband is in a wheelchair. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. He had a small portion of roast diner and I had the vegetarian option. Both were delicious. Veggies well cooked - not boiled to death and Yorkshire pudding crisp and delicious. Price amazing too. Good value for money thank you Nightingale

Lovely atmosphere, staff and food

Always welcomed with a friendly smile. We had a Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious. All staff are polite and efficient. Great pub for any occasion. Nothing not to like about the nightingale. Loved our experience.

Good spot for lunch with the family. Food was delicious, the team here are friendly, albeit, some were Manchester City fans. I can think of 115 reasons to come to The Nightingale... (jokes team :) ) Do pay a visit if you are in the area. Will come next time I am shopping in Bicester Village.

Best pub around. Great food and even better staff if you are in Bicester you definitely should go and try. We had the Sunday roast dinner it was very good!

Wow what an amazing roast we had yesterday! It should’ve been a challenge to eat it all tbh but it was so good we didn’t leave a thing and needless to say didn’t need anything else to eat all day! Service was fantastic from Alistair and Natalie and we’d highly recommend the nightingale to anyone. Ample parking too Thank you all very much for a damn fab lunch!

We held our baby shower at The Nightingale last Saturday and we couldn’t have asked for better. The staff are so accommodating, nothing was too much for Kieran or his team. They catered well for the vegetarians in the group and the food received compliments from all our guests, especially the sausage rolls! Definitely recommend this venue for events!

We went for lunch Christmas Day Best Christmas lunch ever We will never cook on Christmas Day ever again ! A seriously perfect meal, served hot and great quality , the whole team were very attentive and made the meal fantastic

Lovely family Sunday roast with perfect service!

We were lucky enough to celebrate Christmas day dinner at the nightingale , altho the dinner was delicious there were a few things not quite right the prawn cocktail starter was supposed to have Marie Rose sauce which was minimal and buttered bread alas we had no butter 😢 also a few of our potatoes were very very well done !! But the atmosphere and the rest of the dinner was outstanding Thankyou to the team who helped make their first Christmas day a success

We went to The Nightingale for Sunday lunch. Delicious food, amazing staff and great atmosphere. We all received a warm welcome, including our Shih Tzu. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised at the music playing and creating a lovely atmosphere when I walked in. I found them through an app I use called Search For Sites to find parking for my camper van. I had a meal and a drink and very satisfied. Nice friendly staff.

Had a lovely Christmas Meal with the girls, starts yum, Turkey Mains lush, Sea Bass - well I am so chuffed I chose this as it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, new Chef doing a fab job, staff & mgmt awesome - best local 5*

Second time we have been here for lunch. Superb staff and food. Mum lives in Bicester and we have to travel. Highly recommended. Great value for money and new chef is exceptional. You won't go wrong going here.

Visited yesterday, the Christmas Special Burger was amazing. Especially on Mondays BOGOF burger day. The Santa Banta Christmas ale was great. The normal great welcome fro all of the staff.

We had a family Christmas dinner on the 8th December. Food was fantastic. Great value and was well presented. Staff was excellent l. The American lady who served us was so nice and very helpful. A special shout out to Kiran. Sorted out a small issue. Not their fault. Slight mistake in the booking. Made us feel extremely welcome. Worth every penny. Will come again soon.

Great day for Xmas family gathering of 35 adults and children. The set up for a big group worked brilliantly and the food was hot and good quality. Great value overall. Kieran and the team could not do enough to help and make the day special for us all. Would recommend and will book again!

We visited the Nightingale pub Langford Village on Sunday first of December we were greeted by the manager Kieran and Alistair it was a fantastic atmosphere lots of families and children having a fantastic time. We had reserved a private section as we are a large group which was superbly decorated. We could not fault it the food came out which was fantastic good quality and lots of it we really were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Kieran also organised a Father - Christmas suit for me to hand our presents to the children. Kieran and his team really did go over and above to ensure we had a fantastic time so on behalf of the Chambers family and extended family’s would just like to say thank you so so much. Went in for a Sunday roast last week and the food was amazing, the meat was so tender and succulent, alongside a grand homemade Yorkshire pudding and plenty of potatoes and vegetables at an amazing price. The staff were also incredibly polite, very welcoming and service was quick. This is an amazing pub to watch some sport or come with the family for a meal, couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. We popped in to watch a football game and then I organised a quick business meeting here too for the following week. It's also dog friendly!

Wow! We are new to the area and we will definitely be back. Food tasted great, we were told that it would take a bit longer but it was well worth the wait. Can’t fault the service at all

Regular Sunday visitors. But last few weeks, even though booked a table, waited over an hour for food, which was luke warm with very fatty chewy meat. Sorry Nightingale 3 strikes your out!!!

Came for a friends birthday, had a great meal and when I had a question about the vegan sausages the staff were super helpful and confirmed with the chef. Lovely vibe and kid friendly

Popped into The Nightingale for the lunchtime meal deal (sandwich, chips & alcoholic drink). Nick the chef made sumptuous sandwiches, full of fillings & lovely fresh slightly toasted bread, which left us wanting more. Crunchy hot skinny chips & a small pot of slaw too. All very tasty. When we wanted a 2nd drink, Connor didn’t hesitate to offer waiter service so as not to interrupt our meal. A fabulous experience for us today & excellent value for money too 👌 Well done The Nightingale Team 👏👏

We had this as a meet up point for friends and family as we are all scattered around the country. This was a fantastic friendly place that offered us our own area at the side of the bar. We will definitely visit again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Great little pub with a sports bar feel. I had an out of office meeting here after lunch time so it was quiet. The sandwich options were good, reasonable portion size, great chunky chips and good value for money. And the service was warm and friendly. I would return again if ever in the area.

Food was nice, serves hot,and good portions. Service attentive and space clean and comfortable. Was a little disappointed with the Eton mess desert. Real cream would have helped.

Excellent.4 of us visited here on Sunday.We were greeted very warmly by the staff on arrival.The menu had so much choice and we all ordered different.Roast dinner,Fish and chips,Chicken madras and Lamb kofta kebab.We were all impressed with our choices.The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and the staff were friendly and attentive.I,m so pleased we chose The Nightingale.Highly recommend.

Always a good time at the Nightingale! Amazing staff & friendly locals- food is great & at very reasonable pricing. They often have events on, pub quizzes etc to get involved with. Really homely & welcoming vibe. Happy to call this place my local!

Pop in on Sunday with a couple of friends from abroad had a lovely Beef Roast dinner the beef was so tender it just fell apart the potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle there was some American server who was so lovely and offered us some sauces to. Over all I can not fault the service we received and will definitely be returning in the future

My wife, 5 year old daughter and myself decided to visit after a few friends recommended and were not disappointed. The staff were both friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and tasty. My fussy daughter ate all the chicken & mushroom pie and my fish. We will definitely be returning once my fulfilled belly has shrunk!! 👍

There was a great atmosphere with the sport on the televisions. So much choice we think the lunch and regular menu options. The new menu is great.

Sunday Roast was amazing! The Roast beef was sooo tender. Staff very friendly 😊 Husband was happy as he could watch the football at the same time lol We will definitely be back for a Roast soon!

Modern, but still a pub, and good for young and families. A real local gem.

Despite an initial mix up with our large family booking, the staff rallied around to accommodate us without fuss, our meals were fast delivered from order, and great value. Anyone who enjoys a Sunday roast should eat here.

Incredible pub, fantastic staff even better management. This pub has stayed consistently good after refurbishment and new brewery ownership, brewpoint beers have brought some fantastic ales on offer. Genesis stout breathes new life into the stout market! Easy drinking a Guinness killer if you like. 10/10 pub, food and drink

Excellent lunch. We had beef lasagna and ploughman's. Lasagna was delicious, piping hot and not oily. Ploughman's had ham, pork pie and cheese and delicious warm bread. Couldn't fault either dish

Decent estate pub, recent refurbished.

I must say if you’re going in for a fry up 10/10 every time, the main not so much, the burgers we had were raw on the inside and bottom of bun soggy, that’s fine if you are into that but it was not for our taste. Partner couldn’t eat hers an I only ate mine because I didn’t want to waste my money. Mentioned it when paying thanked them then left. Platter was disappointing, staff was polite, atmosphere was good.

A group of us went for a Xmas meal here and it was lovely. Food was hot and very tasty and the staff were very chatty and helpful. Will definitely go back in the New Year.

Particular barmaid very unfriendly & actually rude. Food was a joke. £13 for a burger and chips and honestly the chips were a portion for a toddler. I do not understand why they skimp on chips that are clearly cheap, just fill people up!! Lovely atmosphere though, I’d come back for drinks when the barmaid isn’t working and wouldn’t order food. Honestly, I’m aggrieved I paid that for what I got.

Had an amazing Christmas party here. Food was OK. But service and entertainment was fabulous. Alison & Sophia (not sure how to spell or if I got the names right) where looking after our table and deserve recognition as there where just brilliant. Starter was excellent...main course was absolutely disgusting...I know it's time for Christmas parties and they were really busy...but our mains were dry..the crust on pie needed a sledge hammer to get into it...fish n chips..once through the batter no fish...absolutely disappointed after reading up on the reviews

We booked this venue for our Bowls Festive Lunch, 15 of us.The Staff were ready for us, extremely attentive & accommodating. The food very tasty with large portions (especially the roast turkey) and the dining room, beautifully decorated & perfect for larger parties. A good start to Christmas. Cannot fault, will definitely come again.

We had the best tasting Sunday roast we’ve had from a pub or restaurant in a long time, ample portion size and great flavour. Staff were super friendly and suitably attentive, definitely value for money. We will absolutely be returning for more!

£7.50 for toast (Hovis, probably) with cold sandwich filling.
