Went for a Sunday lunch with our son & daughter in law . Loved we weren’t on top of each other . 4 choices of meat with option of extra Yorkshire pudding roast potatoes or cauliflower cheese. I chose the topside of beef . Proper slices of meat huge Yorkshire pudding & generous fresh veg. The best Sunday lunch I’ve had for a long time. Lovely puddings. Highly recommend & reasonable prices. Can’t wait to go back

The fish and chips are very good. However we are not returning until they resume accepting credit cards. They told me the machine had broken but there is now a sign to this effect in the window. We do not hold any cash so it's rather annoying

We have always enjoyed Miller and Carter never had a bad experience, that is until yesterday Sunday26th January, we checked in and said we would have a drink before we order our meal we asked where our table was ( we had a booking) and was told by the manager " I don.t know yet I will let you know" When we did get to a table it was fine we had a bit of a wait for someone to take our order, when we got our food it was not very hot I had a fillet steak which I asked for well done it was black and tough the veg was cold the peas were black as was the top of the broccoli,my husband also had a tough steak and couldn,t eat it all so as you can imagine we were very disappointed with the food this time and very surprised at the standard of the food I think the waitress was the only saving grace of the evening.

Bad - thermostat in room could not be change , so room was cold, during winter ??? No onsite restaurant as described or bar. It was a little side room, more like a makeshift canteen. Not the usual premier inn standard. Wouldn't stay again. BUT, staff were great, polite, welcoming .

Disgusting. Chicken balls had hairs on them! Lady is rude on the phone. Wouldn’t recommend!

We had 5 great breakfasts at the restaurant and Georgia was great and so happy at her job she made me feel so special she always had a beautiful smile on her face and Georgia was a lovely lady and worked so well i will miss her very much, we always had lovely hot food and everything was cooked so well the restaurant was so good and had a great bar in it to serving great drinks Georgia enjoy your jellies and hope i will see you very soon xxx Martin.

Stick to pancake rolls here. Went last night ordered Chinese chicken curry and boiled rice£9.90. Only chicken was almost edible, rice was thick lumpy like wallpaper paste bloody vile launched outside for hedgehogs n birds, honestly it was proper pants never again! Better off going to Iceland curry and rice around £4.00! Cheap and chearful and no waiting

My husband and I ordered a breakfast the man was most unfriendly and rude on the till,and we had to wait 25 mins for it and whilst sitting waiting noticed how dirty the floor and tables were,would never return ,the breakfast was not even worth the wait ,poor !
