The best restaurants in Hove Park Brighton and Hove South East

I’ve only been for coffee and croissant but I’ve been more than once and whether you like records or not it is one of those places where everyone will join in a conversation. The focus is music as they sell Vinyl but the chef is French and the cost for food and drink very reasonable. The cafe/restaurant is in a parade of shops in a residential area so you can park outside although it is on a bus route. Some Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch times it becomes a pop up restaurant where you can BYO. Not for the romantic meal for two as this is a small venue with tables quite close together but I’ve been told by a friend who went there for dinner that everyone talks to everyone else and it has a good vibe. I image booking is required in the evenings but for breakfast; lunch or just a coffee and a browse just pop in and see.

One of our favourite wine bars with some interesting wines very well chosen and delightful company and service. Highly recommended for a lovely place to go for cocktails and more.

What a lovely little cafe . Just off hove seafront . Home bake treats . Vegan baked . Different milks to go with the Fab coffee . Very friendly . Really recommend it .

My absolute favourite food van, I highly recommend a double "firey Chicken Thing with bacon and cheese in a norfolk crunch roll". Great value fantastic banter Superb food ...Cheryl's a superstar !! I cannot recommend highly enough. !

A welcome addition to Richardson Road, Hove. Have visited this establishment a number of times since it opened. Part Italian grocery shop/delicatessen/continental cafe serving homemade food, and wine by the glass, as well as teas/coffees, etc. Small inside seating area, but with an outside area front (canopied) and back (a real suntrap of a garden) Always good quality, and my friends who have accompanied me all say similar. Menu Italian-based, with vegetarian options. More a brunch/lunch option given the opening hours, that hopefully will be extended as the days get longer. The garden at the back is very serene and ideal for a long lunch with friends, and once the weather improves I certainly intend to visit again.

The food was excellent. I had baba ganoush and hummus both with fresh bread and it was so good I kept thinking about it afterwards. After that we had a main of diced lamb and rice that was also very good. For two people this came to about 38 quid. This is a BYO so you can bring your own bottle of wine which works out very well. There is a seating area in the front and a sisha lounge out the back. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place

My daughter and I decided to celebrate her new job with a Chinese takeaway last night and I’ve wanted to try this place for awhile now - it did not disappoint from start to finish! My order was taken efficiently with my daughter’s allergy noted, delivery was exceedingly quick, food was piping hot and very, very good quality. A special mention to the ginger/spring onion chicken, the biggest sweet n sour chicken balls we’ve ever eaten, special fried rice and char siu chow mein. The crispy chilli beef was not so crispy but actually melted in the mouth - delicious!! I left doing my review until this morning because I wanted to test out how much MSG had been added and I had no side effects at all, a huge plus!! Highly recommended. I look forward to dining in soon.

I have been in Hove for a few years now, and I have never stumbled across such a lovely gem of a cafe as this! Leah is thoughtful and kind and provides outstanding service, delicious coffee and tasty treats. Best of all, this is a local community run cafe. Rocky road is the best I've tasted. 👌

I have been visiting Galileo restaurant for a few years now and I love it every single time. Always leave the restaurant having had delicious dishes and a lovely time as the staff and the owner are all so attentive and know what hey are doing! You must try the pollo Galileo and definitely the pizza with the egg!

I came here today for a roast with a friend. We’d pre-booked as I have a really weird allergy to anything capsaicin related so I wanted to give them a heads up beforehand. They reassured me that the meal I’d chosen would be fine to eat. Upon arriving, the chef wasn’t 100% sure if I could definitely eat the gravy so he made me my own gravy which I really highly appreciate and it was absolutely delicious! So a huge thank you for going the extra mile to ensure I could still eat there. We both enjoyed our meals so much, we left nothing on the plate. Our desserts were also super yummy. Alongside this, the staff are so lovely and welcoming, we’ll definitely be back and will be recommending The Garden Bar to others too. A massive thank you from both of us.

Really amazing spot. Would highly recommend. We were a group of 12 people yet everything ran smoothly, food came out pretty fast, great presentation and super friendly service. Really affordable, great drinks to accompany the food aswell! 10/10 must visit
