Great spot for coffee, cakes or even ice cream next to the beach! Lots of vegan options, including vegan ice cream flavours, less of a queue than marroccos as well, so you don't have to wait on a hot day! 🥰

Delightful welcome even though they were about to close. Coffee was great and had a delicious Polish berry cake to go with it. Would certainly recommend this café.

just happened to come down the street and saw this place with some great looking cookies in the window! so we got a couple, dark chocolate + pumpkin, and white chocolate and peanut butter. really really delicious and satisfying cookies! they also had ice cream inside and coffee and other pastries. the staff were very friendly and nice, like they valued you being there so much. reasonably priced and had a very cozy and comfortable vibe. will be coming back again!

We visited Maka this afternoon for a cup of tea and ice cream, which were delicious. There was also a beautiful selection of home made cakes and cookies. While we were enjoying our ice creams, there were customers buying a curry, so we could not resist and tried their curries, which were fantastic. We bought more as a takeaway for home. The cafe owners, make the cakes and the curries themselves and they are very welcoming. Service and food are excellent. Thank you. We will be back.

Really friendly and welcoming owner. Lovely coffee and polish inspired rasp berry buns! I came in to escape the rain and couldn’t have been made more welcome. A hidden gem just off the seafront. Very good coffees and pastries.

The best Turkish restaurant in Brighton. I'm sure you'll enjoy every meal. Other times you may not want to go anywhere else, so be careful about that :)

The best haddock and curry sauce I’ve ever had. The food took a while to come to the table but it was well worth the wait. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Brighton again.
