A very good Chinese takeaway restaurant, delicious and very neat and clean. The service attitude is very good. The dim sum platter is especially recommended, as you can eat almost everything.

Excellent Service …. and one of the best Chinese Food in Brighton & Hove … we were a large group of 16 and only booked a table for 10 ….. they were so accommodating … food arrived at the same time for all of us … they were extra kind to our mobility challenged elderly of the group … we couldn’t recommend their hospitality, food and service highly enough…. in fact we are going back there tonight (as a small group of 2 this time)

Absolutely the best Cantonese cuisine I’ve ever tasted.. everything we had was so tasty and fresh which melted in your mouth, it was worth the 16 mile drive and it was recommended to me by one of my passengers 🙏👍😁

We are huge Chinese food fans so when we spotted this restaurant in passing we decided it was the place to stop for dinner, and we are so glad we did! Thank you to Danny and his team for an awesome meal. The portions were great, the food was delicious and staff very friendly, and the best part - the price was right 👍🏼👍🏼We will DEFINATELY be back!!

Noodles on burned oil, not tasty soup with strange meat. Current 4.8 seems very strange. We didn’t eat soup and noodles- got a bill no questions asked. Seems like they know the quality is low, but they dont care.

Fantastic full English Breakfast and chinese set lunch with a lovely glass of wine. Food 5* service great will definitely be going back soon

Best Chinese food we've had. Last time we wanted to order, it was closed so tried Danny's old restaurant that had retained his name. It was no where near as good. Highly recommend. The prawn toast huge and so good.

I was looking forward to having some outstanding Chinese food here but my expectations were not met. I can say that the ingredients are of good quality but the prepared dishes are good rather than outstanding. Nothing we ate here will urge us to rush back. The Cantonese fillet steak for example, the better places make the meat char grilled which makes biting into it more satisfying. Portion size for the fillet steak was a bit on the small side for £14.

Find a decent Chinese takeaway can be a bit hit and miss. Thos one is good. Reasonably price tasty food

My wife and I having come down from London had dinner there, restaurant owners Danny and Mavis were very welcoming and provided one of the best restaurant services we have experienced, the food was great too, I would highly recommend the Goldstone Chinese Restaurant, if you go there, you will be well looked after. Keep up the good work!

Delicious food. We had crispy duck, prawn tempura (light and crispy batter), chicken satay to start. All main courses very tasty. Efficient and friendly staff.

The food is truly delicious! It’s fresh, cooked to perfection, and incredibly tasty. We’ve had two take-outs so far and will order more for sure! The delivery service is fast too. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered takeaway from here. Staff were incredibly friendly - both ordering and delivering - and the food was *really* good quality and very reasonably priced. I've been asked to deliver my compliments on the steamed har gao! Apparently they can be incredibly finnicky to make, but can confirm they were truly excellent.

Danny does super quality delicious food at a fair price. Absolutely recommend eating or taking away here.

Have been here many times. Service and food are always 5 stars, whether you have the breakfast and cafe menu or the Chinese. A fantastic selection of food. Lovely garden seating area as well. Cannot praise Danny and his wonderful staff highly enough.

Had way better for way less. Would skip this place in the future. A bit frustrating they substituted gunciale with Parma ham as well.

We have been meaning to try this place after seeing it earlier this year, as we browsed the menu a very friendly man gave us menus to take away and look over which had a wide variety of typical cafe food and Chinese food on, plus a bar! We went last night greeted by all staff, had to try many dishes and finished them all as they were amazing! Recommend the squid starter as my favourite one there, but all were fresh, hot and great quality. We got a 1/4 duck to share too which went further than expexted. The staff were very attentive to our needs during the meal and we sat outside the back afterwards (which is huge and a bonus for anywhere in Hove) with a drink. Bill was surprisingly good value, and had a quick liquer after paying to finish it all off. Such genuine owners and staff, it was really good fun! Thank you and will be bringing friends to you next time!

What a find! One of those hidden gems you hear other people talking about but never find yourself... You'd be forgiven for driving past Goldstone Cafe on you way to yet another bland eatery in Brighton or Hove, if you do, you are missing an absolute treat! Open seating area out the back, ideal for warm summer evenings. The menu catered for non-meat eaters with some outstanding dishes. The broccoli and ginger with a side order of vermicelli had me salivating for most of the week Great prices and wonderful service. Parking can be a bit of a problem but there are lots of side streets and even a big retail park over the road where you may be able to parkup Fantastic!!!

Without doubt the best Chinese in Brighton and Hove. Danny’s food is absolutely first class and delicious. Lovely atmosphere and Danny is the perfect host. Nothing is ever too much trouble. An absolute hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant just next door to Hove Park.

This is a great little cafe run by two of the nicest guys. The welcome you get when you walk in is great and they care about their customers. I would recommend you to visit this little cafe. By the way, it also has a garden you can sit in, and have your meal. Or Sandwich and tea, coffee, or soft drinks. Great for taking the children aswell. Such a great place.

Third time seeing Danny and Fethi, and it just gets better each time! The evening menu is expanding to include Chinese restaurant favourites. Chow mein, squid and duck are excellent as ever and you keep coming back to see the guys. A true hidden gem in Hove! Rachel and Michael

Just popped in on spec with my son to ease the pain of a Utd defeat. Friendly welcome, and some great food. Peking spare ribs Singapore noodles and a dim sum platter. Washed down with a crisp cold Tiger beer. All cooked to order, fresh, tasty and absolutely hit the spot. Will be back.

A wonderful Chinese lunch by Danny. Hot and sour soup, sweet and sour chicken, Singapore noodles and salt and pepper squid. Superb flavour, well balanced and great value. Hardly a suprise given Danny's track record in the town. Can't wait for the evening meals and bar to open. Went again 17th Feb. Now open in the evenings Chinese Tapas and drinks. Fantastic food and service.

First visit here in ages and the business has clearly changed hands for the better. Extensive menu for a cafe at reasonable prices. Very clean and service efficient & friendly. Will be returning in the not too distant.

We had a delicious vegetarian breakfast and a large mug of tea. The food was cooked perfectly. The café has a large outdoor space and we were lucky enough to enjoy our meal sitting outside in the sunshine. Great service!
