We absolutely love this place, we have been coming here for years and still the food is amazing and the owner and his team are polite, friendly and have so much knowledge. The restaurant is great value too. I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly, every time I am in another part of the country and I try somewhere else, it never comes close to Spice Tandoori. Well done to you all, Once again a perfect meal.

There were seven of us that went here for my mother in laws birthday. The service is always very good and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We all ordered the three courses for £23…Great deal if you ask me… The starters were nice,but when we had our mains the curries weren’t very hot…It was like eating a lukewarm soup… I didn’t want to put a downer on my mother in laws birthday meal,so I didn’t mention it to the waiters. There was only one other table of seven,so they couldn’t use the excuse they were busy… We all used to love spice and their curries,but personally I feel as though it’s gone down hill unfortunately… So we’re going to have to find somewhere else now to enjoy a decent curry.

This is my go-to takeaway, but this evening we decided to eat in. Our waiter Moh was very friendly and gave us good advice on some of the less familiar dishes. The food never disappoints. I've used this this place for years. Thoroughly recommend.

The food here is the best I’ve had in Brighton and hove. We ordered food and it arrived piping hot. The naans are fresh and perfectly crisp. The flavours on the curry are out of this world. I recommend this place to whoever wants a curry, I 100% guarantee you won’t be disappointed. It’s a MUST TRY.

We have been here several times so decided to Pop in here in the week 5 of us, as it was one of our group’s birthday. The place was completely empty so we thought we would get excellent service. Staff were miserable didn’t seem like they wanted to be there, ordered our food one person asked 3 times for tap water and ended up with expensive bottle of water. All throughout the meal they kept asking if we wanted more food, which got very annoying. I would of given it less stars but food was good,

Able to veganise all our dishes so thank you. Sundries, breads and rice all good. Curries itself were okay, but not particularly flavoursome. A little more was paid compared to where we usually go.

Curry didn't have much flavour and the chicken was over cooked. Naan was nice as were the poppadoms and chuneys. Onion bajhi tasted like they came out of a packet. Disappointed really as had high expectations as it used to be amazing. I came in Saturday 19th and ate in. Honestly the chicken wasn't great and the portions were very small, I eat plenty of Indian food and this was definitely average at best. When you pay £25-£30 you expect a great meal.

O restaurante é muito procurado por quem mora nas redondezas não só pela qualidade, mas porque faz entregas bem rápidas. Tudo pode ser pedido na página deles; no caso de pagamento com cartão, há de se ligar pra estabelecimento com o número do pedido e eles fazem a cobrança ao telefone. As porções são generosas e uma (curry e arroz) dá para duas pessoas que não estiverem com tanta fome. O sabor é realmente autêntico e há versões com salmão e até pato. O preço poderia ser menor e poderiam também ter alguma promoção ou cartão de fidelidade, mas nada que desabone o estabelecimento.

Excellent service and very good food quality. The only thing that probably personal preference was the Bhuna and Sag Aloo abit oily,but was very tasty and a smoky deep taste in the background.

CAN BUY MORE AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD FROM A SUPERMARKET! Decided to come to this restaurant following some positive recommendations from friends for my birthday. As soon as I walked through the door there was a terrible atmosphere and I felt very unwelcome. We were seated at the back of the restaurant near the fish tank where there was a freezing cold draft coming from the back wall. It then took ages for our drinks to arrive and even longer for food. When the food arrived we were very disappointed with the portion sizes (with only 3 or 4 tiny pieces of chicken in each curry)! Furthermore my son ordered a tandoori mixed grill which only had around 6 small pieces of mixed lamb and chicken for £12.99! The lamb was rock hard and inedible. As for the chicken, it was all clearly frozen, had no flavour and was anaemic - clearly not cooked in a tandoori oven as claimed. All of our dishes had horrible, rubbery frozen chunks of chicken which most definitely were not chicken tikka as they had no flavour. My daughter had a chicken tikka Massala which was a very bland korma with red food colouring mixed in. I know this because the only flavour that it had was coconut. I had a chicken tikka Malayan which had more pineapple than chicken and, as it appears to be common in this restaurant, absolutely no flavour at all. We were so unhappy with our food that we got up to pay before the plates had even been cleared from our table. Upon doing this, the staff didn’t ask whether everything was ok. They simply took my money (over £100) and didn’t even wish me goodnight or goodbye. This was an absolutely awful experience and I will never be returning or recommending to anyone! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
