The food here is consistently good and a wide variety of drinks. Service is friendly and welcoming and the cafe/bistro is a real bonus to the tennis centre. Love the Friday night meals for eat in or takeaway. There are always lovely fresh cakes and we regularly visit at weekends. Dog and family friendly and a hidden gem in Halton. I would recommend the bistro highly. There are only two negatives and these are not the fault of the bistro or its team - the tennis centre toilets are always in a poor and rather unhygienic state. The Clubhouse encourages non- members to enjoy this wonderful place but not all members seem to believe in 'all welcome' and each visit we have encountered one particular member who visibly and audibly shares her opposition to welcoming non- members. This however will not dissuade us from continuing to visit.

The food was so bad we questioned if it was even our order! The egg rice wasn’t best ever, prawn crackers may as well have been last years Christmas crackers they were so stale.crispy seaweed, soggy seaweed more like ☹️. Last time you get my money I’m afraid, we’ll be off to double 8 next time.

Hi I’d like to inform you of a gone off milk situation. The past 4 times I’ve gone to this specific Greggs I’ve ordered a large latte and been greeted with a sour drink that didn’t even resemble coffee. This means the milk has been left unrefrigerated for so long it’s gone off completely. I would’ve stormed back and demanded a refund if I didn’t have a job to go to.

Second visit. Very much like the first, service was excellent. The novelty of grilling your meat yourself will never get old! The food not cooked at the table was amazing. Would definitely recommend the Crispy duck bao. The desserts are better on the Japanese menu, but as long as you ask, they appear fine for you to mix and match.

The drinks were nice, the cakes etc looked nice ( but didn’t try this time), the decor is nice and modern. I found the service lacking in friendliness and there seemed tension in the air ( couldn’t quite put my finger on it) , it’s been the same the last two times I have visited, that’s why I only go in here occasionally. Plenty of other friendlier independent cafes in town. The ladies loo had no loo paper upstairs, extremely annoying. It’s nicer upstairs and good to chill but the staff put me off. When my friends bun arrived there was no communication, nothing, just plonked on the table,

Never ordering from Pizza Hut Aylesbury. Really poor and rude service. I ordered my pizza via online today. However, after it took my payment it came up as pick up although I opted for delivery. So I called the Pizza Hut Aylesbury to request to change my order or alternatively to cancel it. The lady on the phone called “Geeta” told me that she won’t cancel my order or delivery it my house. I was rather taken back by the poor customer service skills and the abruptness of tone. This is the first time I am ordering Pizza Hut Aylesbury, after this dodgy experience with Pizza Hut I am never ordering from them again!

Had Sunday roast today with a guest from South Africa. Experience was simply shocking and am really embarrassed. The UK is not known for service, but even by UK standards the service was beyond abysmal The place was not busy yet the bar tender could not have been slower or more unfriendly and the front of house staff inattentive and clearly not interested. A Sunday roast is pre-prepared so why does it take over an hour to serve three plates? It arrived just warm. Eventually two plates were cleared but the remaining empty plate was just left on the table. We advised that we would like some coffee when asked but were totally ignored thereafter. Finally the darned cheek to add a 10% service charge to the bill by default on the vain principle that there was service! There was grumbling when I advised that I was not paying it. There are many other places around that do a far better job - no wonder so many places like this are going out of business. If Three Locks wants to survive, an immediate and serious shake up is required.

Arriving without booking we were made to feel very welcome. After a glass of wine and chat by the fire we moved to the restaurant for our meal. We asked for a whitebait starter which was not on the menu. The chef kindly performed the miracle for us. We were served extremely well by the polite, cheerful and friendly Rhys. Overall, the food was really good and the relaxing atmosphere just what we needed. We'll be back!

Unfortunately our experience was rather disappointing. The young man that served us was pleasant and attentive - but the food was extremely disappointing. A party of 3 - 2 had the Seafood salad starter (light eaters) and 1 had the Seafood starter but as a main. The lack of seafood in both the starter portions (£13) and the main (£20) was disappointing. The starters had 4-5 prawns and a similar number of mussels and the main had an additional one or 2 of each - but we all thought we had not received any crab meat. On closer inspection we could see extremely small crumbs of crab meat scattered throughout the lettuce leaves but so little as to give no discernible taste. The pudding was nice and the pub itself was pleasant - maybe we were just unfortunate in our choice of dish.
