Such a beautiful tea room and delicious food. We went for the celebration afternoon tea and could not recommend enough. The best afternoon tea we both have had. Staff very friendly and very attentive. Will definitely be back to try the main menu.

I have lived in Buckingham for years how did I not know about this place!! After climbing the stairs in the post office I found this no frills decor cafe. I was greeted by welcoming staff. Ginger biscuits with our tea followed by an enormous plate of breakfast. If you are looking for good quality food at affordable prices with welcoming staff! What more can you ask for.

This place is hands down my favourite place to eat in Buckinghamshire (if not anywhere). Every item on the menu is amazing with great variety, top quality drinks and the friendliest staff imaginable (and who can beat all you can eat pizza for £11.95 on a Tuesday). After hearing nothing but good things from numerous friends I finally tried it for myself a little over a year ago and it has since become my go-to any time I'm eating out. I could not count how many times I have recommended this place to other people.

We were one of two tables in the restaurant for an early dinner, the waitress was lovely in entertaining our children and the kids enjoyed their meals. I was disappointed that I had to call a waiter over to explain that I wasn’t happy with my frittata. One of the most basic meals in the world to cook and it was like eating a pomous stone and the salad had been sat under the heat too so was all wilted. There was no question of why I wanted to return my meal so I’m leaving a review for them to understand why I won’t be eating there again. I didn’t bother ordering another meal and ate the kids leftovers. It was over all a disappointing meal. The decor could do with some love too as it was more bland than the food.

Very bad experience was not busy but the waiters where walking around will avoid this restaurant best not go there as its bad quality meat and poor service lacking on flavours.

Always a great curry. Onion bhaji's are the best! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great if it's sit in or take away. I drive all the way from Brackley. Which has 4 curry houses, non of which I would choose over the Fort.

The best fish and Chips shop in town but it's been closed for a while now

Popped in here on a stormy Saturday - local ale & hot chocolates which were all great. The place was clean - it smelt freshly clean and it had a nice atmosphere. Chap behind the bar was a little stressed but we were in no rush. Would come back - the gin list was amazing!

My husband has always wanted to go here, then watching escape to the country saw the pub advertised. So decided just to go and hoped they were open. They were.... And it was so worth it, typical lovely old English pub, welcoming landlord, good selection of draft beers. Decided on the fillet steak and wow, it was good, the best we've had eating out in a very long time., recommend a portion if the home ade onion rings. We will be going back. Absolutely excellent

Brilliant fish and chip shop. Quality produce. If you haven’t tried the fish and chips then you’re missing out. Only bad thing about this shop is that it isn’t open all day every day to give everyone an opportunity of trying it! Friendly and welcoming staff. The fish is beautiful.

They do the best hot grilled wraps in town. Service is always excellent. Great selection, freshly made every time.

Looked like it would be better than it was. Had a bacon and egg roll which wasn’t great. Had a black coffee with pouring cream (separate). Didn’t like the coffee. Was expensive for what I received. So not value for money in my opinion, considering other places very close by offer full breakfasts portions (including toast) for a similar price to their roll with bacon and egg. Other food and drinks may very well be better. This is based on what I had only.

Took my wife here for a treat and was really surprised how fresh and tasty the food was. I haven’t visited this restaurant before but will definitely be back

We ordered 2 americano coffees to takeaway ☕️ And paid £6.70 for the privilege, only to find out we had been served 2 instant coffees from a kettle, that tasted disgusting and we through them away. Steer well away from here as they are scamming you and clearly don't care for the customer experience. SHAME!!
