Terrible - flavourless, small and not a patch on the old owners - would not recommend. Really so disappointed - would never return

Delightful, one of a kind cafe. Obviously aimed at cyclists, which we are not, but that didn’t matter. Very friendly staff, quick service, and exceptional espresso (tasting notes displayed on the counter; they obviously take it seriously.)

After a long period of absence we went for drinks here on Christmas Eve. Not a single pump was working and a small bottle of Peroni and an equally small (and disgusting) bottle of Prosecco was charged at £10! The manager was overheard telling another punter that they were “running down the stock” which translates to “we’re going to be closing soon”. Such a shame - this used to be an amazing pub years ago. Mis-management has led to the state it is now in. Bring back the former owners.

Previously visited the Tearooms when they were located outside the front of Perry Court. The food was excellent and cheese, chutney sandwiches were huge and fresh. Has to be said for the new cafe the staff are great - however the new sandwiches are appalling. Cheap supermarket, sliced bread and a smattering of grated cheese for ££. Phenomenally expensive. A huge disappointment and wouldn't return.

Absolutely unacceptable service—this is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever had the misfortune of ordering from. I placed an online order at 6pm, with the website advising a one-hour wait. I arrived at the restaurant at around 7:10pm, only to be told the food would take another 30 minutes. With no seating available inside, I waited in the car and returned 40 minutes later, only to find a chaotic scene—a crowd of frustrated customers packed into the tiny bar area, all complaining about the extensive delays and lack of communication. One customer had been waiting nearly 3 hours, while at least 10 others, like myself, had already waited over 90 minutes, only to be told it would take even longer. I’m genuinely baffled at how a restaurant can be managed so poorly, with such appalling communication and organisation. I requested a refund from the restaurant manager twice, only to be told they couldn’t issue it on site as it was an online order. So here’s hoping I do indeed get a refund from my card provider at least.

We had travelled from The North to visit family in Kent and we were hopeful this Chinese take away would be great….unfortunately it wasn’t ! The lemon chicken was good, however the chicken balls had that ‘overused oil twang ‘ and the seafood Thai red curry was poor. The egg fried rice was dry and the prawn crackers were past their best. All in all I wish I would have used an App to provide our Chinese meal. I would not recommend .

Having booked the Christmas lunch for £120 per head we were expecting a festive feast fit for a king and queen! What we were presented with was certainly far from that. The bucks fizz on arrival was tasteless and a very strange opaque colour. However, we thought let's get a nice glass of wine. The wine was awful and came up in the cheapest glasses. Now for the starters. The soup was tasteless slop and came with butter thrown on a plate (cheap portion wrapped butter usually found at the local cafe). Scallops were edible to be magnanimous. Next came the main event... well the plates for the turkey were no bigger than side plates, the food piled high. Roast potatoes were like iron and brussels tasteless. The turkey came with a slither of stuffing and the side plate of vegetables was meagre and served with no imagination not even a parsnip in sight. Cheapest vegetables used. The beef was not roast beef as you would know it, it was a slab of what tasted like reconstituted meat. Very poor presentation for a special meal. Water glasses came up and were plastic! Never had that in any restaurant. Desserts were OK but again presentation left alot to be desired. The ladies serving were a real pleasure though and probably if honest saved the experience we encountered. For what was a very expensive Christmas treat (we normally eat at home) it is certainly one we felt was very poor. The presentation, food quality and breadth of choice was inadequate. Money for old rope! Really the management whom never made themselves known should be ashamed of the overpriced con this was. I would imagine many felt the same as we did witness people complaining at other tables and asking for refunds. We would never return and will be telling anyone who will listen how dreadful this experience was! Poor show Farriers Arms you did it all on the cheap and it showed.

We were visiting Wye and decided that we needed some lunch and this cafe had the great advantage of supplying hot food and drinks on a pretty cold November day! We ordered tea, coffee and hot chocolate, along with hot sausage rolls and pasties. The drinks were welcome and quickly delivered but the food took a long time and it became apparent that it had been forgotten. So we reminded the waitress and she rectified the oversight. The food was hot and good. The young lady said that she was new to the job and we had no reason o disbelieve her. We wish her well.

Had our work Christmas Party here in December for 34 of us. It was great - food came out promptly, allergies were catered for and it was delicious. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and staff were attentive to re-filling drinks etc. We will definitely be returning this year!

It was ok and thought we had found a real gem, however…….very slim pickings on the menu, 2 of the 6 mains were sold out even at 6pm. So thank good for the specials board. The food good can’t fault that, but don’t have the steak if you like it blue as they won’t accommodate it. Staff were a real struggle though a lovely lad in there but the female side was just god awful. Did not make for a warm welcome and consistently reminded us that they needed the table at a certain time, (which believe you me, we knew already) practically ushered us from our seats, to which made us not want another drink in the bar area. Refused to serve my 22 year old daughter alcohol, even though she had a work lanyard to which they snuffed (hey ho their pub 🤷🏼‍♀️) but not great for her after hard shift on a Saturday!! So no rush at all to go back. Thankfully have found another pub 10 mins away which is just fab!!
