Previously visited the Tearooms when they were located outside the front of Perry Court. The food was excellent and cheese, chutney sandwiches were huge and fresh. Has to be said for the new cafe the staff are great - however the new sandwiches are appalling. Cheap supermarket, sliced bread and a smattering of grated cheese for ££. Phenomenally expensive. A huge disappointment and wouldn't return.

Went to visit the cafe for lunch and won’t be attending again!! An hour to get the order and mistakes is not acceptable. Staff need to focus on having a dedicated job rather than jumping between tasks. One kitchen staff at a busy lunch time just doesn’t work, restrict the menu if you have short staff. Will drive 5 minutes further down the road for lunch next time.

I visited biscuit tea rooms with four members of my family & our dog. Upon entering we were greeted & found a table, which seated 4. The man that works there came over & offered to move a smaller table onto the end, so we were seated together. We had a long look at the rustic paper menu, made our choices & ordered via the counter. I ordered the afternoon tea - the man advised they were just baking a new batch of scones so this would be 20 mins. Our food arrived after 10 mins and I had a lot to keep me busy for 20 minutes! A Chunky cheese & chutney finger sandwich; ham & mustard and cream cheese & cucumber; as well as a big slice of delicious Victoria sponge. The bread & butter went down a hit with the rest of the family & my dog was offered gravy bone biscuits, so was also happy. The atmosphere is relaxed & the place is clean & tidy and the menu is reasonably priced. We will be visiting again.

Tom and I have been coming here regularly for over a year. They have freshly made mega quiches every day, delivered with a side salad, dressing, and chutney. Thin, crisp pastry and tasty filling. The interior of Biscuits Tearoom is cosy in winter and outdoors there are wrought iron tables and chairs under large umbrellas to enjoy the sun safely. Yesterday, for the first time, we each had a large fruit scone with Gina's raspberry jam and clotted cream, which was delicious. This is home cooking at its very best!

I think this place is fine if you are out walking as you can sit outside or inside have a tea or coffee and walk on again. I was pleased to see that they now have a vegan option but the cake I had was incredibly dry it was almost dust like and was obviously at least a few days old. I am a keen vegan baker so know this was just down to the cake being stale.

I visited the tearoom today with my daughter and 3 dogs. We enjoyed a fabulous pot of hot tea in a huge pink teapot and two warm freshly baked fruit scones with butter and jam. It was "spot on". They also asked if our dogs would care for a biscuit and brought out 3 bone shaped home made treats. Warm scones & a warm welcome for both us and our dogs. We sat outside but they do allow you sit inside with dogs as well. Thank you Biscuit tea rooms we'll be back.

I am a frequent visitor to Biscuit's TeaRoom . I visit with my family but also with a walking group I belong to. We walk from Wye to Biscuit's Tea Room. This takes about 30 minutes along footpath. The group are then happy to enjoy a coffee and a piece of cake or flapjack. (usually both if truth be told!) Some of the group then visit the Perry Court Farm Shop, which is owned by the Fermor family, as is Biscuit's. This is an excellent shop selling cakes, bread, local cheeses and local fruit much of which is grown on the farm. As an extra bonus children can play on a tractor and visit the animals, piglets, sheep and miniature donkeys (cute). Lovely refreshments, farm produce and entertainment. A real delight. This is enhanced by the staff and family who are only too happy to help. Two years ago I had an American family and their extended family visit the area. Laurie organised a cream tea for them (a full coach load!) with tradition scones, cream, homemade jam and strawberries grown on the farm.It was a delight. Our friends still talk about their time visiting Biscuit's! I pop in about once a week to buy bacon, vegeables in season and apples.

I know it was Apple Faye weekend with more than normal visitors but there was a distinct smell coming from the toilets into the tearoom. Now that the refurbishment is complete, the disabled toilet opens straight into the tearoom and on many occasions the door was left open when people left. Cannot fault the staff as a young girl was cleaning them and restocking toilet rolls etc but maybe some self closing hinges would help. It's just a bit unpleasant looking at toilets when enjoying a lovely cuppa and superb home made cake.

This is a regular haunt whenever in the area. 'Biscuits' should really be under 'cafe/restaurant' as although not a huge range of food the portions are big enough for a lunch especially the Ploughmans which come on huge wooden platters and with fresh ham, cheddar cheese, pickles, salad garnish and thick slices of local bread. Try the home made soup first and finish from the selection of home made cakes and a coffee and it's certainly a meal. It is fabulous for those with dogs as the local Kings Wood wears them out and they are welcome at Biscuits either inside or out on the large patio. The other bonus is the extensive farm shop on site with fresh fish available on Fridays and Saturdays. There is a huge car park well off the road so it's quiet and there's even nursery plants for sale, pet foods, and everything from eggs to cakes, apple juice to home made crisps, even birthday cards. It's a lovely 'stop-off' if Canterbury or Ashford bound, being just off the A28, and the recent extension has more than doubled the tea room so it's more space for all and a lovely place to visit.

We regularly visit as we know this is somewhere where our dog is allowed inside. Lovely surprise when we arrived to see that it has been refurbished and it looks great. The staff are great and so proud of the improvements, mentioning that their new uniforms has given them a sense of professionalism. One of the other things we used to enjoy was the standard of food which is where I have to be slightly negative. Still ok but not as good as before! My ham sandwich was dry and when I looked inside only one slice of bread had been buttered and there was no homemade chutney or side salad as mentioned on the menu. The pot of tea was not the same, much weaker and could have done with another teabag. My cake was delicious but certainly not the large slice I had last time. Please Biscuits, don't cut corners as your customers have come to accept a high quality and any cost saving changes will be noticeable.

I am a regular visitor to Biscuits and they have now completed the refurbishment which has extended the tea room into what used to be the fish shop (which has moved into the farm shop). This has made it about 50% larger with plenty of new tables. It has also been completely re-decorated. I usually have tea and cake. The teapots are large enough to get two or three good cups and re-fills of water are readily available. The cakes are home made and there is always a good selection. I've often popped in to have coffee and cake (all delicious) but never tried a meal. I'd observed lots of people having the ploughman's, which looked very good, so I had to try it for myself. This is the best ploughman's I have ever had. The portions here are always generous to say the least, even I struggle with a slice of cake, and the ploughman's is the no exception. It may look like it's small in the photo but judge by the size of the knife to the right. There's a huge chunk of excellent cheese, generous slices of ham and lots of delicious extras such as apple crisps and apple slices. It's really fresh and absolutely delicious, all served on a big wooden board with a pat of butter in twisted paper (a nice detail). I really thoroughly recommend you try this for yourself, particularly if you're hungry. It wouldn't be out of place in a high end gastro pub.I would have marked excellent, except for a couple of things: the staff are generally polite but often not overly friendly which is a shame, if you try to chat to them they don't necessarily respond in an enthusiastic way, which in this sort of service environment you'd expect. Also, if there's a couple of people infront of you the wait can be very long, there's usually 2 people serving and as you can imagine it takes a log time to prepare food like the ploughman's.Great food and coffee and like I said if you're not really in a rush well worth trying.

Visited yesterday and on hearing cinnamon & apple cake was near completion I took up the offer of a very short wait for it to be iced. Well worth those few minutes. Delicious!

We have visited several times and have never failed to be impressed. There is always a friendly welcome, even for the four legged members of the family. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is lovely and fresh, home made and thoughtfully presented. I would happily recommend, particularly if you want somewhere to go where you don't have to leave the dog in the car! We normally have a quick stroll along the section of the north downs way that joins up to the car park and then reward ourselves with lunch or a delicious slice of cake.

The various daily cooked quiches, scones to die for, and mouth watering homemade on the premises cakes and sponges, are without doubt probably the best you'll ever come across. And served by extremely pleasant young ladies in quiet rural idyllic surroundings overlooking a working farmyard and farm shop. And at very reasonable prices......sshh don't tell too many people as we don't want to have to queue in future!

Since this business was taken over by new management the improvements are amazing! The service, quality of goods to eat and atmosphere is excellent and continues to improve weekly. I love the creative baked goods such as savoury Brie and bacon Chelsea buns that are handmade at the tearoom. The farm shop next door has greatly improved as well. With the majority of fruit and veg grown locally and on the farm itself. The prices and quality easily beat any supermarket. Plus I support local farmers. I can't recommend this tearoom enough!

I made my first trip to the county of Kent and stopped at Perry Court Farm. We had scones and tea at The Biscuit Tearoom. The experience was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the scones and cakes were delicious.; we had several. :-) This is truly a wonderful place to visit and to shop! I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the area and even to those who are not. It is worth making a trip for - you will be glad you did!

Lovely friendly service, great cakes, pleasant sandwich and a nice cup of tea.The shop also sells great produce once you get to know the rather hap- hazard layout. It took me 2 or 3 visits to really appreciate what a great shop it is, but the best fruit & veg shop in the area by a mile.

Laurie bakes daily from fresh local produce supplied by Kent's best farm shop, Perry Court. Quiches, salads, and seasonal fruit bites cannot be beaten for flavour and freshness. Home made meringues and brownies with real gooey centres, flapjacks, and coffee walnut cake, are all delicious. The signature bake: cheese scones. Laurie's warm welcome puts heart into this tearoom. In these times of heavily refrigerated and processed snack outlet foods, it is wonderful to enjoy recipes my mum would have baked, and know they are packed with the best of Kent. Wonderful coffee too.

We have often called into Perry Court Farm Shop to buy the fresh and tasty fruit and veg on offer, but last week our attention was drawn to the recently refurbished tea room that has been there for some time and the new paved patio area. Our couriosity got the better of us, so, we entered the tea room and was most pleasently suprised. The proprieter was a very helpfull, cheerful and chatty young lady, we only had coffees, as we had eaten in Canterbury a little earlier, so had no apitite, but a couple accross the room from us had ordered food, the gentleman had a sandwich, What a "wopper", I remarked to him that it was more like a "door step", he replied that it was and he came in regularly and really enjoyed his meals there. Next time we go there, as surely we will, we will not eat before hand so as to try one of those "Door Step "sandwiches.
