The best restaurants in North West

Nice decor and friendly people. Dogs welcome. However: They had no idea what a "cortado" is so barista skills/expertise are lacking. Very small choice of sweet treats.The scone we had was very dry, clearly nowhere near fresh.

Lovely oldy worldy pub,no food served but been going here before and after a Liverpool game,bar staff are brilliant,highly recommended !!!

Really enjoyed our food tonight was nice and refreshing to try something different - food was full of flavour and fresh! The carbonara was unreal really enjoyed it! Definitely order it again only downside was the food wasn’t hot was just warm but still really really nice :)

takeaway if you can call it a take away... 0 stars all the way through... went in for special burger chilly and garlic on burger salt and vinegar in chips.... what did I get I got chilly and garlic on the burger and the chips no salt no vinegar and a foul smell of MINT. I rang up to see what's what and he tells me he puts mint sauce in his chilly... but if I take back he will make me another....who puts munt sauce in chilly sauce fgs. Took it back told him it's wrong and got excuses so asked for tomato sauce (instead of chilly ) and garlic ..... left the establishment thinking ok...but no get back to where I'm working and no G/mayo on burger with a small amount of ketchup that doesn't even taste of ketchup.... Oh chips cold and soggy too.

Found this restaurant on Google based on reviews. We are not local and were just passing through. They were very friendly and helpful from the outset. The atmosphere was great in the restaurant and for a Thursday night was busy and popular. The service was great and food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Added bonus for us was seeing the well behaved pooches in there as its a dog friendly place.

This place is now called Elsie's and is next door to the old boardwalk. Visited on 22.3.25. Had a full English brekky + mushrooms. My good lady had a small brekky + mushrooms & we shared a pot of tea. Bill came to £16 odd. Food and service was simply brilliant and we will be back at some point as its 20 odd mins from us in Colne. Great place. Thankyou all the staff🙂❤️

Amazing home cooked Thai food. We come regularly. Great service, generous portions and really reasonable prices. Only a tiny place but it’s so authentic. Staff are so friendly

Great food, really good quality and plenty of it. Reasonable price too. I'll definitely buy takeaway from Habiba Spice again.
