Nice decor and friendly people. Dogs welcome. However: They had no idea what a "cortado" is so barista skills/expertise are lacking. Very small choice of sweet treats.The scone we had was very dry, clearly nowhere near fresh.

Now operating as Chews Great lunch nice setting and very welcoming friendly staff.

Fantastic breakfast here while up seeing my son , lovely staff . We will definitely be back again soon.

Very good price and brilliant service and food

Normaly go for Breakfast here, but decided to go for lunch. Really good, nice selection on menu, good choice. My daughter had one of the poke bowls, which she said was lovely. Definately be having lunch again here. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Highly recommend trying here.

Amazing food with a great selection of drinks and cocktails. The staff are very friendly. The waitress who served me was very professional and very friendly with my daughter. The chef cooked some stunning food. I didn't know what to choose and asked for the chefs recommendation. Chef Adam sent me a chicken and noodle poke bowl and wow, it was delicious. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The atmosphere, food, drinks, service, I couldn't fault them at all. I look forward to my next visit.

I have reviewed this place before and given it a glowing report. I have been here twice lately and the service has been terrible. Today we went for a bite to eat. First of all we ordered a coffee and a coke, 2 coffees arrived this was corrected. We then ordered steak sandwich with a side of frys. We got the sandwich but the frys were missing so had to wait for the frys to be made. The other order was the large all day brunch ,but we got the small brunch. When we pointed this out ,a man came out of the kitchen and said it wasn't his fault , and the young girl had simply made a mistake ,he abruptly said what do you want me to do about it he offered no apology for the mistake. The point I tried to make was the young girl got the 2 drinks and both the meals wrong. To be fair the food was very nice but the service and the attitude of the man from the kitchen was terrible. We have been before and had good service , it just seems to be when the younger people are left on there own that the service suffers. I have deleted my previous review.

Brilliant independent restaurant, serving 3 menus: breakfast, lunch & evening. All menus look interesting and totally different. Had hot & spicy "Poke Bowl" for lunch, absolutely amazing fresh ingredients with just the right amount of heat. Nice restaurant with a licence .

We love this place. Great for a drink after work on a Friday and is now our go to place for a decent breakfast on a Saturday morning. The staff are very friendly and the food is lovely. And to put the icing on the cake, it's dog friendly too, which is important to us.

Noisey staff talking about their nights out and rude when the owner is not on site. Trying to enjoy a nice breakfast, noisey staff. Ourselves and other visitors try to watch to 10am programme about our new King. Young staff member talking very loud and other staff member member asks if everything OK. We replied just trying to hear programme. Told it is a CAFE.... yes but 3 sets of people in watching about the new King. We don't want to hear about your lives.

You won't be disappointed here! Great quality food in nice surroundings.

What a beautiful place. Well maintained, with everything you need and clean. The owner made my Mum and Dad so welcome and even left them a gift to celebrate their 60 years of marriage. This age their day. Thank you so so much. I would recommend!

Had a lovely breakfast, sat outside in the sunshine. Service was great and good value for money.

Superb breakfast this morning after a recommendation from a friend. Loved that the beans came in a separate container, perfect. Reasonable prices and just the right amount of food. Staff are also happy, smiley and friendly, always a bonus if, like me, you eat alone!

Just been to The Hideaway for lunch was a lovely lady serving really nice and welcoming. The food was brilliant to. Will definitely come again.

It was OK, but just had a limited menu and we had to wait ages for our food. To be fair it wasn't that busy

Cosy atmosphere. Food fab. Service great. The only thing I could suggest is one of those fly insecticutors, both times there were annoying flies inside. Went for breakfast. Had to ask for it to go as it took a while. Went for breakfast on a Saturday about 10:10 closed. Random.

Sorry guys your breakfast Sunday was a good value nice mix only. However it was akin to a poor luke warm Motorway buffet very disappointing .What happened to freshly cooked on a hot plate ,simple enough I would have thought.!!!!

Just had a delicious Caramel Crunch cake and a refreshing brew.

Food was very good, well seasoned and tasty. Coffee wasn’t that great, very bitter. However that wouldn’t put me off coming again, great value for money.

Smashing breakfast and the staff are lovely. Don’t hide your light give it a go, lots of my friends have and still are. Smart decor as well.

At last I managed to get here for breakfast seeing HWMBO has been several times since the opening and raves about the experience all round. Brilliant big brekkie saw me through the day and the most smashing staff very Bonny as well and working the Covid systems brilliantly.

Lovely little cafe, has become a regular stop on way home from Southport. Very safe in terms of hygiene, social distancing and excellent service.

Lovely smallish bar. Friendly staff. Snack menu like olives, hummous, mediterranean and cheese sharing platters. Also been for breakfast. Great food and really nice cosy atmosphere. 7 for breakfast this morning before the new 6 rule comes in tonight

Visited today at 5pm. First time visiting. The place was immaculate, very comfortable and cosy. The staff were all very warm, friendly and efficient! The service was fantastic and most importantly the food was gorgeous. We had a sharing platter it was lovely and fresh with plenty of variety.

What a fabulous bar!! It's just what we needed in our lush little village with a really good food menu for all. Lots of vegan stuff. Yay!! Really really good cocktails.
