This pub is probably the best in Lees and Uppermill / Greenfield, cleanliness is utmost of importance, (covid), very friendly, serves good food and drink. If rated I would give this 5+ 07/10/20 Just had a scone, lovely, also had previously a ham salad sandwich, most excellent, (always judge a place by the ham sandwich) love the place ❤️ Still has 5* rating

Don't know why, but they serve the best Guinness in the whole of the Peak District. Closest in quality to Guinness in Ireland.

If, like me, you like no frills pubs with excellent beer, plenty of room to stretch your legs out and a relaxed vibe, then you are in the right place. A friend recommended this place. To be honest, I'd driven past many times and promised I'd go in but never did til now. I'm annoyed with myself, I didn't go in sooner now. Anyway, here we are. The beer is brewed on the premises and lovingly crafted. I had a pint of Rossendale ale, which I am still fondly remembering. My mind is saying go back, go back. I will, I will!!

Chips, perfection. Clean oil, fresh fish, highly recommended. Great staff too! Easy parking at the front or at the side of the shop. 5 stars!

Excellent customer service. Large tastey fresh food. You can ask for dishes that may not be on the menu. I recommend eating in or take out..

Had a very nice afternoon here. The greek stew was excellent washed down with an Efes.

Lovely place, great staff and nice coffee! Reminds me of 'The Godfather' scene where Al Pacino avengers his fathers in the restaurant with Sollozo and Captain McKluskey.

Lovely atmosphere snd nice to be able to talk to each other. Delicious gin snf tonics snd tasty Porter. Would highly recommend Skew Bridge.

I ordered lamb shawarma plate and it was the worst food I had eaten .. meat was dry and it was OVERFLOWING with chips salad and meat !! I had to order hot sauce on top which had no taste ! My friend ordered mousaka and he got mince and aubergine mush with RICE!! Definitely not going back!!

This is an incredible gem. The portions are large and the puddings especially should not be missed! Everything was cooked with such care.

First visit, will be visiting again!

We travel from Leeds for Petes Chippy. No one does chippy like Manchester but Petes is the best of them. Great service, tasty food exactly what you want
