The best restaurants in North West

Mark, Becky and Georgia were kind enough to allow us to hold my daughter’s gender reveal at their bar. Nothing was too much trouble and they were amazing hosts. Even down to blu tac! Highly recommend this bar for a social function and definitely for a cheeky tipple or two. Made to feel welcome as soon as you enter.

We have visited Vinesteins so many times and have never been disappointed. The food and the wines are fabulous, Austin is a great host and has given something very special to Rochdale . We were there last night to enjoy the pasta offer that is currently on , absolutely delicious and a great price. We would and do highly recommend paying a visit . Looking forward to our next one . This is a charming place that is branded as a coffee house but does so much more. There's a really good, relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and made sure we were looked after. The hot chocolate was amazing and the coffee and teas looked good too. But there's also a good brunch and breakfast menu. We had the spicy beef brisket on a muffin and eggs Benedict, both were really good. The brisket in particular was really tasty, topped with red onion which was delicious. It is a little pricey, maybe more Manchester city centre prices than Prestwich prices, but the food, drink and service are worth it. Free water and WiFi too, plus loads of facilities for those with babies.

I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to an air bnb we were staying at for my hen do, and the food was absolutely gorgeous. It came on beautifully wrapped and presented cake stands and individual dietary requirements were catered for perfectly, giving those people their own box of goodies. Everyone loved the food and it was soooo reasonably priced. Very impressed and would 100% recommend! Thank you 🥰

An absolute gem! This small family run business makes everything from scratch and you can tell!! Amazing pizza dough and the toppings are perfect. Service is great too!

Having been given a voucher for this cruise as a gift, we weren't sure what to expect. My husband made the booking over the phone and immediately commented on how friendly and helpful the lady was who helped with our booking. We turned up on a very frosty morning and stood viewing the ice on the water! We were boarded at 11.45 and shown to our allocated table. The boat was duly decked out with Christmas decorations and for the whole cruise we were regaled with Christmas songs. The food (which we had ordered from the menu prior to the cruise) was really delicious and we considered ours to be ample portions. Above all, the service was amazing and the staff worked tirelessly. It appeared that everything ran like clockwork and at the end of the cruise we considered it a lovely way to spend about 3 hours. The price paid was really good value for money and this canal cruise is now firmly on our 'To Do' list for 2020.

Cooking class at Megafauna in Southport was so amazing!!! We did vegan basics and was so impressed, was really special experience, did loads of stuff and got lunch and food to take away with us. Ben is brilliant!

Lovely little find. Beautiful cakes and good coffee. Dogs very, very welcome. We will definitely return in the near future

Good food, caters for meat eaters and vegetarians - relatively modestly priced and healthy food. One recommend to those people who classify themselves as unadventurous as the food is not too spicey.

Great place and it's a lot bigger than you think from the outside. Good choice of drinks and not at ridiculously high prices, great friendly atmosphere too. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

We found this cafe by chance & were going again this week 01/10/2024 what a cafe. The staff and volunteers (which they have over 70) are really friendly, & as for the food I haven't had a nicer Breakfast. The lady served this on a really hot plate which I was told about & its the first time my breakfast stayed hot throughout, my wife she had eggs on toast & she said the same thing hot throughout. I can't wait to go back & try something else...
