The best restaurants in North West

Came to get some food with my family. Staff was really friendly and the food was brilliant. Definitely be coming back. 100% recommend!!

Thank you so much for making our meal for our 40th wedding anniversary with our friends so memorable. The standard of food was superb and presentation exceptional, this was down to the dedication of the team in the kitchen and their mentors . The service we received from the young man (clover) was outstanding and he should be rightly proud as the rest of the serving team and mentors should be. £21 yes £21 for a three course restaurant meal and expirience. When we are next up this way on holiday we shall most definately be booking a lunch and will recommend to our family and friends. Finally a big thankyou for the marvellous cake which you presented to us. It was delicious and again a reflection of the superb team you have at the college including the your booking collegue. Didn't eat on this occasion so can't rate the food. I would note that I concur with a comment I read regarding lack of signage... it's actually quite hard to find! If this is because of some daft rule The Council are imposing, well... Shame on Them! One thing I would suggest though is perhaps to get a rubber stamp for the (very nice & eco-friendly) bags used for the wine we purchased. The glasses we had were so good we bought a bottle! Do you have a website?

Our whole family, children and grandchildren enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Walker’s Retreat. Just as we expected, the food was very good, catering to different diets and beautifully presented. Afterwards we were able to spill out into the courtyard where the younger children could safely play. Thank you Dawn for a memorable occasion

Have been to this place a few times now. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is honestly the best breakfast/brunch food I’ve tasted.

First timmers here. The food was excellent. I have never had a chicken breast skewer so succulent. Excellent and attentive but not rushed. All in all an excellent evening and thoroughly recommend

Coffee fabulous, food good, staff friendly. Welcoming to our cockapoo! Always pop in when passing. Toilets the best in Cleveleys! This cafe deserves to do well.

Great atmosphere and service but unfortunately the food was well below expectations. We were really disappointed as this place has good reviews. I don't mind paying the prices they charge if the food is good but we won't be returning.

All round pleasurable experience today. Sunday lunch was excellent. Fresh, hot, plentiful food with thoughtful little added extras. Served by friendly, efficient volunteers. We will be back!

Great coffee, amazing stuffed croissants and very friendly service with a great playlist in the background. I would definitely recommend a visit if you're in Chester and looking for speciality coffee.

Fabulous food , lovely relaxed ambience and great service !!! The pizzas are excellent and the arancini are a must , served with a tasty dipping sauce . I would definitely recommend!!!!
