What's Cookin' in St. Helens

My partner and I enjoy trying different cafes around the St Helens area sometimes 3 or 4 times a week - today we have this one a go and I have to be honest it was the best cafe we have been to within this area. Brilliant food and service. I would recommend the halloumi!

Best breakfast around. 5 stars for the lovely food and service you receive in this cafe. I go there on a regular basis and it never disappoints. If you want something different the lovely ladies will knock it together for you. Give it a try as it’s a little gem.

I was recommended to try here by a friend and was not disappointed. I had a delicious breakfast, well cooked, with orange juice and a large pot of tea included in the price. I highly recommend this cafe.

Found this little gem when visiting the market. The service was fast and it's a very clean place. My wife had a breakfast Bagel melt. I opted for a full breakfast that came with the following Orange juice A pot of tea Toast and butter Egg Beans Mushroom Tomato Black pudding 2 hash browns 2 sausage 2 bacon Fried bread We both enjoyed the food and will go again

Called in here on bank holiday Friday with my wife whilst visiting Earlestown. It is a very small cafe with only around 4 tables, but it has a most cozy feeling, is very nicely decorated, and spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts we had were delicious and outstanding value for money. Will definitely be returning.

Having eaten here many times for exelent breakfast and lunch friendly staff going out of their way with choices no rush and will continue to visit my favourite ....

What a wonderful cafe. The breakfast here was phenomenal, big portions but what struck me was the quality of the food. It’s really excellent and the staff are very welcoming. Even though it’s so nice it’s also excellent value for money with the juice and coffee being provided with the meal. Couldn’t recommend more.

Had read the reviews and decided to call in for a breakfast. Had the full English. Quality ingredients, cooked well and very friendly staff. Recommended and will definitely be back.

Me and Mrs W came across this place whilst shopping in the area and we are so glad that we went in. A very friendly welcome greeted us upon entry, spotlessly clean tables and cutlery did not go unnoticed as did the branded condiments. I ordered the omelette and Mrs W the chicken, bacon and cheese toated sandwich with side salad. The food was perfectly cooked as presented beautifully. Top marks to the chef and waitresses for a faultless service all round.

We were recommended to try here by a friend and were not disappointed, nice cosy spot in the centre with a good atmosphere, the girl who looked after us super friendly and always smiling. Had a breakfast each well cooked came on a big plate presented well, orange juice and coffee included excellent value. Busy spot obviously has a good customer base with repeat business. Thanks Becs and your friend who made it a a visit to remember.

First visit since before COVID started Just as good as I remember fresh hot perfectly cooked food very reasonably priced Very friendly service Highly recommend Eggs Benedict just £4.50 Went to boutique hotel in St. Helens paid £8.95 was no where as near as Goid as here !

Called here for a cuppa with a friend and within minutes decided we would be returning for lunch after doing our errands. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The food was delicious with little extras that made the experience feel quite special. The place was spotless and the decor was attractive. I'm not often in Earlestown but I'd visit again just for the cafe experience!

What a fantastic little cafe. The cafe is warm and inviting and the staff are a brilliant. There cafe is spotlessly clean. I was served by a lovely young man Sam. He was so pleasant and friendly. I had a seeded burger bun with chicken strips and lettuce. With a relish of your choice. Of which there were many. I chose sweet chilli sauce. The chicken came with onion rings and crispy french fries. A cup of tea washed it all down. I felt very safe coming to the cafe. It seemed very popular as every table was occupied. Make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and can't do enough for you. The food is all freshly cooked to order and eye catching with a good layout on the plate for your enjoyment

Superb food, cooked to perfection and the prices are very reasonable, the coffee and cake both stunning... absolute gem of a cafe, my new go to place for a decent breakfast

Called in for breakfast on our way to visit friends. Really lovely atmosphere and only recently re-opened. We had the Great British Breakfast which was the best we’ve had in a very long time. Felt very welcomed and only wish it was nearer to us.
