Went there for the first time today. Fascinating place. Imagine a very classy patisserie but dealing in baclava and other stuff. Very friendly staff, and I had the good fortune to see them making baclava fresh in front of me. Well worth a visit.

Todo muy rico y con muy buena pinta, dan ganas de probar todo y decirles a amigos que vayan, pero pienso que podrían ser un poco más amables

Went to Syrian Sweets and they had a wide variety freshly made sweets. Order a mixed box of baklava and the staff was helpful with suggestions and even gave samples. They also had some lovely looking cakes but we didn’t try those. Can definitely recommend the baklava.

Stopped off at this sweet shop with a friend. Very elaborately decorated place with a wide variety of arabic sweets. The staff are very helpful and not being familiar with arabic sweets they provided samples which were tasty. Great little sweet shop.

The pastries are fresh and delicious. The Kanafeh always sells out real quick though! Also, the Turkish delight is a steal at £2!

I was introduced to Syria Sweets very recently, which is just off the main street of the curry mile. It is just wonderful to walk into such a well kept Middle Eastern confectioners and what is immediately apparent is the high quality. A whole range of superb confectionery is on display and is just without parallel in Manchester. Syrian, Lebanese and Iranian sweets, freshly baked onsite ma'amoul, baklava, knafeh (with cheese or cream), and much much more and a whole range of drinks, tea and coffee sets, burners etc. all beautifully displayed. The staff are are also very helpful, hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Just off the main drag in Rusholme this place is a gem. They specialise in baklava. The staff are very friendly and have us a few freebies to eat while we were waiting. I find baklava can be quite dry but the stuff these guys sell is delicious, fresh and definitely worth tasting. Enjoy

My partner and I were off yet again for another adventure, this time to the Curry Mile in Manchester on the hunt for some sweet treats (we're wild I know). Just off the main strip we seen this fab shop which was illuminated beyond belief. When inside we realised they guys made ALL their sweets in huge trays. We even got a sample to try and ended up buying a selection of them all. Very friendly people and wonderful sweet treats, perhaps overlooked as not trusted in your face on the main strip - but definitely worth a visit. We will return.

This is one of the best Arabian sweet shops you will ever find in the UK. Top Quality and ingredients. They have all the traditional mix, Konafa, Baklawa, Maamool and money others. Very Clean and hygiene is their top priority. My favourite is Mamool Walnut. This is a sweet shop so it does not have seating nor you will be able to eat inside it , but it is well worth the visit.

Very poor service. Firstly they over charged me and then when I asked for refund they gave me full chicken which was basically only bones which were marinated on grill. It was very disappointing for me and my family and I would not recommend anyone going there for full chicken as you can be deceived like me. However I looked at other peoples tables and their full chicken looked nice and plumped. They really made my day turn down.
