Very welcoming even though we had not booked. Family vibe and very busy fun atmosphere. Service at the table quick and friendly. Food was tasty and plentiful. Lovely evening here.

As always Walnut didn't disappoint. Service and food was lovely , apart from 1 lamb stew dish that my friend felt was burnt. I decided to try the Pomegranate chicken and it was so nice. .Others had the lamb chops , chicken kebabs fish and a vegetarian dish .All served with lovely rice , clay oven bread or chips. Waiter was brilliant.

Great Persian restaurant with authentic dishes. All the items are made fresh and served promptly. My family celebrated my son's birthday there, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Be mindful to book a table in advance and avoid being late, as the head waiter will tell you off. Overall, I recommend it.

Authentic food and super delicious, I have have the mix grill and tea. The price was okay given the cost of living crisis, but worth a sit down and enjoy your meal. Bon appetit

Roxana helped us very much with our order and was very cooperative. The food was very elegant and beautiful. We really enjoyed the experience. If I return to Manchester the second time, it is very important that I visit it with mixed grill kebab, two shish tawook and saffron rice.

Tasty food with generous portions! The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we were enjoying our meal. We had a lot of leftovers because of the great portion sizes, and the staff kindly checked if everything was alright with the food. There was no problem at all—everything was delicious! We just wanted to save some for tomorrow ;)

Just had two portions of kabab koobideh with rice. It was even by far better than most restaurants in Iran. Lots of credits to Mandana and other staff for their very friendly behaviour. Can’t wait to come back again.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. My chicken dish (number 23) was beautiful. The chicken wings were amazing, my family enjoyed their lamb shanks! I loved how the fruit juices were freshly squeezed. Everything was fresh! The service was great, nice and relaxed atmosphere! We will be back!

Best in the whole universe and best service

The food and desserts were tasty as always. I was just expected a softer koobide kebab. But generally everything was nice specially their friendly staff.

I loved the food, and the staff was amazing, I enjoyed the dinner a lot. I ordered the regular mint and lime mojito and a cinnamon tee for sharing. My family ordered several dishes and all of them were amazing, I couldn't reach to the dessert. At the beginning the place seemed noisy, but later you find out that it's because the ambiance is inviting to have fun. The staff is very courteous and pays a lot of attention.

Just so yummy! Dined here for my birthday and it was my first time having Persian food. You back see we had quite the spread and there was more still not in the photos. I had the Fesenjān for the first time and it was rather yummy stew. The humus was the smoothest I've ever had and I've had quite a bit of humus. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I love persian food . And when I asked a perian taxi driver about his favorite restaurant he reccomended walnut . And boy was he right ! The food is very tasty and portions are generous . Just delicious !

Tried the lamb shank with berry rice. It was really good and the portion was good for one person.

It is nice, but I will not repeat the experience.. There are restaurants that serve better Iranian food and are of a higher standard

Initial setback with reservation not being recognised by waiter, but waitress came through for our 14-people party. Service was great from then. Attentive and fast. Could not order kobideh as it had been made with sesame bread. Opted for lamb shank with rice. Very nice. Meat slid off bone. Rice had barberries. And the shorba when drizzled over rice, elevated taste.

This place is the real deal. The food, service and drinks are top tier. I ordered the mix grill which was massive, the meat was divine. I particularly enjoyed the lamb kobideh and the meat juices on the platter. It gets the basics right, the salad was zestious and excites you for the meat ahead. The rice aswell was perfect and had flavour which is a great metric to understand if a place knows its food stuff. Also recommend the cardamon tea aswell.

Began with the soup which I really enjoyed, for the main course, I chose the mixed grill which was cooked to perfection. The flavors were well-balanced, and the portion size was generous(warning⚠️). The lamb chops stood out, adding a unique twist to the dish. Overall, walnut is a must visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining and exceptional service. Food & drink options across the board were excellent and well priced. You won't struggle to fill yourself and not feel short changed. Service did let this down as it was slow to non-existent at points and seemed as though there was a lack of staff for the size of the restaurant. Would return for the flavours but an improvement in service would be needed.

We came for a birthday meal as a group of eight, the reataurant has a very clean and nice decor. The workfloor and area is very neat and the waiters are exceptionally helpful and friendly. All the food tastes amazing and very typical persian styles. Our host, Mondana and Keyvan where so welcoming and pleasant, nothing was a trouble we was well looked after and felt part of a big family from start to finish.

Saffron Falodeh was no different from Supermarket Falodeh. The batter was good. Excellent service and hospitality. The atmosphere below did not smell good.

Great in every area except the bathroom. Food is always served hot. High quality is consistent too. Usually have No 32 for main. Chips very good too. Happily choose here over the many, many other places offering similar food.

This place used to be good , but not anymore , they droped the qualities and try to.make more money of customers . We ordered 3 kababs with rice. The rice overcooked/boiled .the kababs spouse to be lamb kababs but they mixed more beef to it.we had stomach all day. Grilled green papers were completely burned . We pay cash . They charged us VAT . Won't go anymore .

We went to Walnut on my birthday. Every time we come here, we get excellent service from lovely staff, delicious food and always a nice cosy atmosphere. I think it the best Persian food in Manchester and the business is running well by professionals. which is very good. I would highly recommend Walnut!!

The food was good but the Iranian waitress was too embarrassed to speak in Farsi. Very strange. Perhaps Iranian customers were not welcome.

To be experienced! I understand why this place is always busy. Lovely decor, friendly service from the beautiful ladies. Food is Persion, and flavoursome without spice. I only tried one dish, which looked colourful and well presented. Also ordered the Iranian tea, erm... not so sure, that was very average, just black tea really. But all being said, it's good.
