The best restaurants serving British food in North West

We visited the hotel after its recent refurbishment and we had a lovely time. The room we stayed in was done to a really high standard and had a great view. The staff were lovely. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.

My favourite cafe, I go at least twice a month. The food and drinks are lovely and it's a nice cosy local for us 🥰. Also has a good range of vegan options. Friendly staff, clean cafe and great prices!

The food was amazing, especially the lobster. Service and surroundings were excellent and would definitely highly recommend this fine dining experience to everyone. We will return!

The food is great, we really like the flavoured fish bites. Only the parking is rubbish.

Waited 50 min for two jacked potatoes. Could've made it myself tbf. Also cold food too. Imagine waiting 50 min for cold jacked potatoes smh

Went mr Fires about 2weeks ago for the first time After googling & it came up with good reviews I decided to try it with my mom, she had chips & fish bites which was made fresh while I waited was good really nice big portion too & cheap I had Lamb Keema with potato & 2 chapaitis which the guy serving recommended to me He was very polite & told me he does 2 curries daily different ones I wasn’t disappointed was really nice Lamb keema was so tender & nice got a good size portion & chapatis were nice size will definitely visit again I will try another curry I can’t fault the food, also recommended Mr Fries to my friends too.

Lovely spacious tea room in an impressive building. Delicious food. Very generous portions, served by some lovely people ! 😊

Great food and service here. Had the large breakfast and the portion was truly large - I was defeated!

Absolutely fabulous restaurant, food is the best, staff pleasant,could not fault anything. Don’t think I’d bother going anywhere else as this restaurant never disappoints.

The coffee, venue, food and service by Libby and the team are always amazing! Must visit!
