The Deli @ 95 in South Lakeland

Excellent little find ! We walked the full length of the high street and came upon this lovely little place. We had tuna salad and a tuna panini - cup of tea and a bottle of orange juice. Both fantastic ! Would definitely visit again when in the area.

We went for a late lunch on a Monday, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back.

We love the bacon and Brie and coronation chickpea sandwiches, freshly made on local sourdough bread. The owners (a mother and daughter team) are very friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Our dog, Trixie, picked out the deli as she did not want to walk past and we're glad she did. We had an impromptu lunch, a sandwich and jacket potato which were lovely and fresh and Trix was spoilt with some chicken. There was also a lovely display of chutney's and jams etc which tempted us as gifts to bring home. Thanks for such a lovely lunch and being so welcoming.

The two ladies running this place are simply lovely. Good choice of cakes, pies, lunches etc. They do a wonderful tea bread that is amazing value. Love the quirkiness of the place. Good value.

We called here by chance and very glad we did, the deli is exceptionally clean and the food and drinks on offer were lovely. We only had coffee and cakes which were as equally appealing as he sandwiches.

Really pleased to discover The Deli on a recent visit to Kenda. A perfect place for a relaxing coffee & snack in the smart interior with such friendly hosts.

I’ve walked past a few times & thought “That looks a good place” … & indeed it is. Clean, bright & friendly with lots of lovely quality local produce. I’d been swimming & was quite hungry… had bacon on a sourdough baguette with coffee - which was quickly ready for me, and followed it with a beetroot & berry slice. Lots of options for gluten-free, vegetarian & vegan diets. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Had a sandwich and a mixed salad. The bread, the spread, the fillings, the presentation were all delicious. Salad was fresh, ingredients tasted precisely how they should. Could not at all knock the mother and daughter team here. Drop in for a bite, enjoy it, absolutely second to none.

We had a quick lunch stop here whilst visiting Kendal on a very hot day. We loved the sandwiches, the bread was delicious and great fillings. The homemade carrot cake was really tasty- we wished we had got a slice each rather than to share. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive.

It's a really good deli in the middle of Kendal that sells good quality local, ethical and fairtrade food. I had an organic iced tea which was very refreshing!

After being out all morning walking around and building up an appetite we stopped at the first place we saw and I'm so glad we did, we had a brie and bacon sandwich and a vegan coronation chickpea sandwich, both were delicious. The lady who served us was happy and welcoming😀

Unfortunately we've not had the chance to experience and sit in lunch here but everytime we have visited for a takeout the food has tasted great. Everything is made from hight quality products and they should be proud of their independent deli. 10/10 service, food...
