The best restaurants in Wyre North West

Popped in for a small order, less than £10 two young girls serving were constantly messing with their phones whilst trying to serve people. Language was awful Infront of customers, horrendous way to run a business. Food weirdly wasn't too bad.

A few of us go regularly to this cafe and never had a bad experience The home made soups the sandwiches and presentation excellent The staff friendly and helpful The broccoli and Stilton soup is wonderful ! Try for yourself recommended

What a wonderful and truly inclusive place! Came here while on holiday with my family on recommendation from one of my clients, as I am a physio working with children and adults with disabilities and additional needs. The owners appear to have thought of everything to promote the best experience for all customers. Accessibility was excellent. Their hydro pool looked amazing and the food was excellent. In hindsight we wish we'd tried their pizza as it looked excellent, but what we had was delicious. Thank you for a lovely visit. We will return on our next trip!

I always loved the potato & meat pies from here, always full to the brim and perfectly cooked, however, on my recent visit the pies had more air in them than potato, very sloppy, and the pastry soft. Something has gone wrong here or have they just forgotten how to bake or maybe they are budgeting.

I broke down Saturday morning and just managed to get on their forecourt. They showed caring and kindness. Come to check we were ok. Offered hot drinks and put cones around. Nothing too much trouble, polite & helpful.

The cafe is upstairs over a shop. It’s quite small but with pleasant staff, good service and excellent food, is worth a visit. The lunches were plentiful, very tasty and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to return.

2 nights in a row me and my partner have gone to tried different curries. The punjabi balti jalfrazi was unreal!! We will return more like likely next weekend. Very friendly staff. Tariq is very attentive and will make you anything you require. You can taste the curry as offered to make sure it's to your pallet.

Excellent atmosphere, the drinks were reasonably priced, the staff and service was great. My friends and I had a really good night out here and we will definitely be returning.

Had countless fabulous meals from Canton Kitchen. Local run Family business, Food always on time and piping hot. Tasty well prepared meals. Any absolute gem. Excellent value for money. Thank you

I love the smash it burger they are the best burgers you can get and the burger fries wow they are amazing, won’t go anywhere else for my burgers. The shop is always clean and the staff are all helpful and very kind. I’d recommend this shop to everyone I know. Manager is lovely too and the owner, all good people.

I love the Comrades club but today I felt discriminated against which made me feel very disappointed. I have a hidden disability which means I prefer to use the disabled toilets. However, today I was challenged by a lady using walking aids. She said why am I using the disabled toilets, I said I really do t need to tell you that and went about my business. Later after using the disabled toilets again I was given a lot of staring from the lady concerned so I admit I pointed to her and said what is your problem. What followed was me having to justify why I was using the disabled toilets which I shouldn't really need to do. I was subjected to comments such as your able to walk in and out okay so why not use the gents. I explained to the person that just because I do not have a walking aid didn't mean I don't have a disability and I felt it necessary to reveal why. The Comrades club has lovely people but today I felt so angry by the reactions of narrow minded people who only see a disability as some who may need a walking aid. More understanding is needed by the committee on this matter.

Try one of their cheese and onion or chicken and ham plate pies.....they are FANTASTIC !....I drive all the way from Blackpool to stock up my freezer with them, and can honestly say they are gorgeous !! R Parkes. Blackpool.

Nice airy pub, well decorated with plenty of seating. There are numerous big screens showing different sports. A good selection of drinks and cheerful bar staff.

Ratten Row Cafe is next to Horrocks’s curiosity shop. Nice dining area and a few seats outside. Lovely staff and very nice cakes
