I love the Comrades club but today I felt discriminated against which made me feel very disappointed. I have a hidden disability which means I prefer to use the disabled toilets. However, today I was challenged by a lady using walking aids. She said why am I using the disabled toilets, I said I really do t need to tell you that and went about my business. Later after using the disabled toilets again I was given a lot of staring from the lady concerned so I admit I pointed to her and said what is your problem. What followed was me having to justify why I was using the disabled toilets which I shouldn't really need to do. I was subjected to comments such as your able to walk in and out okay so why not use the gents. I explained to the person that just because I do not have a walking aid didn't mean I don't have a disability and I felt it necessary to reveal why. The Comrades club has lovely people but today I felt so angry by the reactions of narrow minded people who only see a disability as some who may need a walking aid. More understanding is needed by the committee on this matter.

We frequently visit The Kings Own Old Comrades Club when we are in Fleetwood Lancashire - mostly locals imbibing in reasonably priced alcohol and shooting pool 🎱 on the eight ball table - music is provided by a jukebox offering a good selection of tunes - now that Scott Brown formerly of Celtic F.C has been appointed manager of the cod army perhaps we shall be visiting this watering hole more often 👍

The Kings Own Old Comrades Club is a great pub we chanced upon as we were wandering around this part of Fleetwood and what a great time we had. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a lovely interior, nice decor and furnishings including a superb looking serving bar ,cosy sums it up best . We were here on a Wednesday afternoon, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and ordered a beer each, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was good ,a light, hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew, this is a seriously popular pub,on our visit it was really starting to get busy but with beer this good hardly surprising really. We moved on after our beer and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. The Kings Own Old Comrades Club is easy to locate along Adelaide Street, its most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

I am a member of a quiz team who regularly attends the Thursday night quizzes at The Bay Horse. The staff are all lovely but I have to mention 2 in particular, Gary and Ryan who are always very polite and friendly and go out of their way to help solve any problems even when the pub is very busy. They are a credit to the manager and deserve all 5 stars awarded. Keep up the amazing work you do guys.

Very long wait for food Young gentleman who was in charge of taking food orders just didn’t seem to be enjoying his job, was quite curt when speaking.Did apologise for the wait but didn’t sound like he meant it.
