Fantastic food and service. The Farmers Arms has a great atmosphere with very friendly professional staff.

Called in for a bite to eat today. We've been eating here for years and it's been good in the past. Today was not so good... scrambled eggs were way overdone and nearly cold. The staff replaced them but these were overdone as well, albeit warmer. I don't usually moan about cafes, having run one in the past, but I think today's chef needs to learn how to scramble eggs! I'll happily show them how, if they ask.

Just had steak and chips with veg ..delicious. my husband had lamb chops with mash chips and veg..both clean plates.. perfect service. Lovely and clean ..

Always call in here on our way home from Blackpool. Called in Sunday around 3.30 and got a table. All staff were very friendly. We met the new management who were also really nice and wished them well with their new adventure.

Whilst waiting for my cars MOT up the road, I thought why not walk to Nels for some warm drinks. Not been in for years, was my every day goto place 25 plus years ago. Inside didn't look much different but outside they've made a few seating area changes. Will go back soon for a few ales on a warmer day.
