Just tried the lunchtime wraps from here for the first time - 1 chicken & 1 meatballs - the food was so delicious & fresh and portion size was very generous. Staff are very friendly and eager to please. Premises are immaculate. For £5 for such excellent quality, I can’t understand why anyone would use a fast food place. Will definitely be back and work through the menu. Thanks.

After the demise of the great Happy Valley in Aspull, we were left searching for good "non standard" Chinese takeaway. Then we found Lams in Arlington. Which sadly closed in January. Again leaving in search of the holy grail. It's about a 12-13 min drive to the golden dragon, so not exactly local but we have no good options anymore around Blackrod. I tried this place because of the good reviews on Google. I can honestly say this place is amazing. It has competitive pricing and everything was really good quality. Also the portion sizes were really large. We had the fried combo starter, which was really good. Beef satay, fried rice, chips and crackers. Was absolutely phenomenal. We found our new non-local, local takeout. Highly recommend.

Cuatro parejas visitaron por primera vez anoche. Tuvimos varios entrantes principales y postres entre nosotros, en general muy bueno. Mi entrante , pollo frito con salsa katsu no fue genial , pero mi pastel de venado principal era soberbio . El entrante de pudín negro me pareció el mejor entrante, ¡ojalá lo hubiera tenido! Unos pocos tenían pescado y patatas fritas que dijeron que eran muy buenos como lo era el brisket. El postre de tarta de queso era pobre, pero pegajoso pudín de toffee muy bueno. Buena selección de cervezas. Siento que los entrantes son caros, la red eléctrica está bien. Servicio muy bueno 👍

Excellent evening with excellent food and service

We moved into the area, went on the hunt for a good indian (we tried about 5 in the area!) tried Ajmeer a week or so ago and found the food really good. Tasty curries, I had a madras (and secondly a vindaloo) both were really good. Partner had a tikka masala and a korma. Really impressed, this is going to be our new local!

Whilst visiting the town we took the opportunity to have a break here. We were greeted with very friendly staff and took our seats. Both of us enjoyed fajitas, choosing both chicken and beef, which were served promptly with salad and fries. Together with tea and coffee, it was priced very reasonably. We would definitely return here again if back in the area. Many thanks 👍

La comida es maravillosa, Jackie y Debbie son muy amables y es una excelente relación calidad-precio. Todo cocinado por encargo y demuestra que la comida excelente no tiene por qué costarle a la tierra. Bien hecho Humble Pie, el mejor en Standish.

Terrific breakfast and service, highly recommended. We come here often - I only wish it was quieter but I think everybody knows about it now!
