Stayed for just one night in a room with a view of the Sphere. Room was beautifully decorated, clean and nice and cool on our arrival. It was quite a treck up more than one elevator and around several corridors to find. Pricey, but worth a splurge.

Great food and selection of beers. Friendly staff, Sunday Roast Dinners are superb, they are a little pricey but the food quality and quantity is excellent. Great, large beer garden too for visits on warmer days, and the location is ideal being mid-way between Stretton and Walton, with other local pubs just 5 minutes drive in either direction. Overall excellent, a proper traditional pub serving quality food, just slightly over-priced on food in general, but well worth a visit.

We arrived at Hatton Arms, hopefully to have food off sorts, walking in was dreadful, everybody stared at us, atmosphere awful, the staff behind bar were not helpful at all, no smiles, no eye contact no personality, we felt like we were intruding in a public house, , we should have walked, out their and then but decided give them all a second chance, that did not work!!!.. we shall not be returning, we live locally, and are very disappointed with SERVICE the the unwelcome feeling we all felt, as retired ladies, have been to Hatton Arms many times, we have gathered to say your staff need customer service training, also you need to address the Rooms set up!!!!!!! In all a dreadful experience!!!!!!

The food is really first class as are the staff. It is always popular but you can walk around the shop while a table becomes vacant. There are lots of food and gifts to explore.

This was our chosen venue for lunch last Tuesday on a 38 mile cycle. Not been before but it was easy to find on a safe quiet cycle in and in lovely grounds. The cafe was very nice in what might have been the stables. Although we were a little earlier than expected for lunch we took a look inside and were immediately persuaded to have that early lunch. The wide range of savoury goods looked so good as did the cakes and tray bakes. We placed our order and took our seats in a very spacious indoor dining area. There was also lots of outdoor tables and seating. The eating area was clean and well looked after by a number of young adults. Staff were polite, friendly and provided an efficient service. When our food arrived we were not disappointed at all, it was fabulous. The dining area is dog friendly and absolutely not an issue but our visit was during half term and a party of extremely noisy babies and children did spoil our other wise great visit. Parents turning a deaf ear to the disruption. An obvious regular customer on the table next to us who clearly visited for coffee and a read did not stay……. This is absolutely not a reflection of the Heritage cafe or its staff we would highly recommend this place but would choose our visiting time better. We will most definitely be back (during term time 😬)

We stayed as a family of 4 and found the hotel/pub extremely accommodating. From arrival the checking was very helpful and accommodating as they booked us a table for the pub in the evening. The family room was spacious with 2 single beds and a double. Only bug bear was there were only 2 packs of biscuits for 4 people but if I’d have raised it I’m sure they would have provided more. In the pub there was an event on so food was slight delayed but the staff were really approachable and friendly when we asked for information. We weren’t in a rush and sat there playing board games enjoying the atmosphere. It was my wife’s birthday and the staff supported us by putting candles in her desert and play birthday music which was nice. Breakfast was good with flexibility to order extra toast and cereal/fruit with juices beforehand plus a weekend breakfast from 8:45-10:45 suited us perfectly. Overall a lovely one night stay and a nice ambiance to relax in a family friendly country inn feel. I never normally review but the staffs friendly accommodation to make us feel welcome inspired me to share my experience.

Service in the cafe was quite bad, I think it's because we didn't want to sit on the high chairs (due to mobility issues) so waitress had to clean another table and then totally ignored us and served others that came in afterwards, had to go and ask someone to take our order and they didn't seem very pleasant throughout, food was OK when we finally received it but we'll overpriced.
